Apparently there was a THFC fans forum tonight with Levy, Poch and Hugo in attendance.

Would be good to hear from anyone lucky enough to have been invited any insights into what was said, general mood etc....

just posted this literally seconds ago in the stadium thread, but i guess this is the place for it
crocket on ftl: Levy kept his cards close to his chest but said 100% it will be ready. A lot of the internal stuff is close to completion in certain areas i.e boxes

Poch & Hugo both said they're here for the long haul

They didn't say one way or the other but from both Poch & Levy 's reaction, Bale could be on the radar!

Can we assume then that Real are wasting their time? (With Hugo)

Poch also said that Toby will be out for at least another five or six weeks
Looking at him being ready to early Feb then. His absence has been critical.

Would be mixing it for 2nd place if he hadn't gotten crocked, imo.

That’s a real blow on Toby. Even when he’s not playing that well, he makes Jan and others better through his organising and leadership qualities.

We'd be higher, but too many attackers off form has been equally problematic. Hopefully Kane, and in particular Eriksen and Alli start well against the Seagulls.

Yep, it feels like ages ago I last saw vertonghen bombing it forward. The assured ness Toby provides just makes the entire team more confident.

At fans forum tonight, Poch said Toby won't be fit for another 5 weeks & Levy said he is confident that Toby will sign a new deal!
Most of his answers seemed very genuine and positive but I do think the way he answered this one means there is more going on behind the scenes than they’re letting on and I’m not so sure he will sign an extension tbh so we may have a tough decision on our hands. Mabye he will
Give it one last year in the new stadium and make a decision after that when he has a lot more power with only 1 year left etc.

5 weeks is mid January which is about what I expected. Our only obvious tough game before then is city which is a bit of a free swing.

All true except *Levy said Poch and Hugo are here for the long haul, they didn’t say that themselves lol* but it did seem like they are.

When asked about Bale, Hugo also jokingly chimed in and said yea and we could get Modric back also ;) poch’s Reaction seemed to say if daniel can afford it I’d not say no to having him back.

Levy:
-Said stadium will be ready + “don’t worry about our finances and ability to compete in the transfer market, if we aren’t successful on the pitch we are nothing, we have a business plan in place to continue progressing even once the stadium
Is built”
-Regarding the trains I think he said something like the platform will be ready but full service not until early 2019 so I take that as may be some congestion until then.
-Said Poch is going to be our Bill Nick
-Was asked about what makes him sack managers (that got a boo) and he cleverly said I’d rather not focus on the past and hope I won’t need to do that again
- generally on good form and most answers pretty positive.
- also said we pay london way to all direct employees

Poch:
-complete mixture of answers but generally pretty positive. Most q’s To him were ones that he gets asked in the media so not much new really.
- a kid asked do you like managing spurs and he said “no... I LOVE IT” legend!!
- also said if we are losing at half time he can get angry but try’s to stay calm
- both poch and Hugo got asked if negative comments from fans during the game effec the team and they said yes of course it works both ways but Wembley is quite “flat” unless it is against this season Liverpool
And Real Madrid. So I don’t think they’re big fans of it.
-he praised winks
-said we always try to sign all types of players with a good profile, that would be an expensive star, a young talent or develop one from the academy as ultimately we need to build a legacy.
-Said his book release made no difference on our form.
-said we don’t really prioritise one competition over another but it’s important to rotate the squad across the season. (When asked about the West Ham CC defeat) said it’s not like we didn’t want to win, we were 2-0 up and we lost, that is football.
-jokingly said that when he played we had offers from lots of prem clubs but never tottenham and then looked at daniel jokingly and said why not daniel?!
-he also made a joke that when he goes home to his wife and has had a bad day because he’s argued with levy that she has to put up with his bad moods, was all very much banter though and all 3 seem to have a very close bond to be honest, was really nice to see.

Hugo:
-can’t remember some q’s To him as Levy and poch got most to be honest but his general vibe was really good, he’s such a cool Character and leader.
-he got asked how does this spurs team
Compare to the Lyon team he got to CL semi final with and he basically said it’s hard to compare as different times but quite similar and they also beat Real Madrid that season. Said after we beat Real and Dortmund we should be confident
-was asked his memories of spurs before signing and said he knew of us because of ginola but also loved watching us when we had berbatov and Keane and also In the CL with crouch bale modric etc.

One fan travelled from Canada for it and hugged poch! That was his question can I have a hug and he said sure, brilliant moment.

Amazing evening and then we saw a promo for the lane docufilm on BT this Saturday 9pm. Emotional stuff!

I’ve probably missed some Q’s and A’s but hopefully this is insightful.

Being that close to them and hearing them all talk together and seeing how the stadium
Is progressing and the VR for it does make you realise what a special club this is and project that we are building and the way they all spoke seemed really genuine that regardless of if we win or lose etc we are going in the right direction and we will get there (to the very top).

Don't think we'll see him until then, personally. I expect poch to make sure he's absolutely 100% before bringing him back in.

When you look across at West Ham we really are so lucky. Even the obvious disconnect at Arsenal and Chelsea between managers and the board. There seems to be a harmony from the academy right through to Levy. That everyone is on the same page and this is a long term plan they all seem intent on seeing through. Would love to see where we are 5 years into new stadium.
