Does anyone think loris was weak for the De Bruyne goal? It looked suspect first up or was it just to good a strike

No should of saved it. It was hit fairly well but was at a good height and not right in the corner. He always seems to throw at least one in against city, Chelsea and arsenal maybe. wonder why that is? You could see it coming yesterday as well

Top players know they can get money and trophies. Do fans really think they will stay at spurs and follow this 'long term plan' that every fucker like poch keeps banging on about.

I don't believe it does, other than the obvious attitude problems, their best days are ahead of them.
What Walker does or doesn't do doesn't alter the fact that he became a better player during the second half of his twenties and that supports my point.
It doesn't support your point for me as your making excuses for yet another inept performance of which those players are mature enough to take responsibility for along with the manager.
I'm sick to death of these lame performances against the big sides away from home and yesterday was no exception defence was non existent and the build up play continues to be done at snail pace no threat in the final third, that is simply not good enough.
A lot of posters on here during the summer claimed we didn't need much investment as the team was good enough, that claim is clearly untrue as it's clear we are short in most areas and some players needing to move on in the summer.
I can't wait to see what excuses poch and the team come up with for this latest debacle which is standard practice for us after these games but maturity is not one I'm buying.

This is the first time he's beaten Poch, so you wasted a lot of words that amount to zip.

It doesn't matter whether it's his first or 10th win guardiola is an outstanding manager who gets his players playing better when he takes over.
The disappointment for us is the slight regression of the team this year our passing is painfully slow and we are not as solid as last year plus I find us boring to watch this season I'm sad to say.

Enic have been fantastic but I do believe that they have taken us about as far as they can.
To the brink of occupying one of the best stadiums in Britain, a process that has involved incredible patience, commitment and investment, during which we've mounted two credible title challenges and beaten Real Madrid in Europe. I'd say it'd be absolutely, utterly crazy to deny the same owners a chance at taking us to the next level in the new stadium. It would also be mean-spirited.

We do indeed seem to have become somewhat Englandy. I blame Wembley.

We are much weaker then last season and it is pretty easy to explain why. Toby is out, Walker is sold, Wanyama is out, Dembele is off form, Eriksen is completly off form, and god knows what is that thing named Alli but he is not that Alli we used to know. So that is 6 positions we are weaker compared to last season team.

Sanchez and Toby will be back soon and I think we will do all right with Trippier and Aurier on the right so I am not worried to much about defence.

Although if we will not sort out center midfield and attacking problems we will struggle to get into top4.

Lamela is showing good signs but we still need at least one of Alli and Eriksen to show up.

Wanyama will be back soon and we must hope he will be in good form. Winks and Dembele have to be more consistent.

Soo a lot of things have to change. Its hard to belive it suddenly will. Add to it wembley factor and it is really very very difficult season for us.

We need to strenght in january but we all know it wont happen.

I said fuck all about the performance and I made no simple excuses and nothing like that last summer.
I responded to the claim that Poch had taken this team as far as he can and I didn't agree with that, one reason I didn't agree is that the ten players I listed have their best days ahead of them, they will get better, they will certainly get better at dealing with games like this one.
Players do improve with maturity that's why the rich clubs buy and play players in their prime rather than nineteen year olds.
I get that you are pissed off, I'm not happy either but I don't think this is the beginning of the end, hopefully it will emphasise the importance of buying well in the transfer windows to the man that matters.

The stadium on its own will not take us to the next level. Yes the increase in revenue and commercial opportunities will help us catch up with Liverpool, and get closer to Arsenal, but Chelsea, Man U and Man City will remain far ahead. The only way to catch up with those clubs IMO is if we get a sugar daddy owner.

Definitely agree with you regarding buying well in the transfer window but can you see it changing let' hope so but I remain reserved.

But once you have held that candle to the devil, do you continue to support Spurs?

Being honest we have a poor squad of players at the moment

Trippier, Aurier, Dier, Rose, Davies, Winks, Dembele and Alli are all crap at this moment in time and would not stand out if they were playing for West Brom, Newcastle or Stoke.

For some of these players it is form for others it is lack of ability.

Alli's advertisements now look ridiculous, the guy can't even pass to a teammate, let alone #create which he relentlesley tells us it is what he's here to do.

Rose is unfit and wants out.

Dembele just looks constantly unfit.

Trippier will never be a top level footballer

Aurier keeps making basic errors.

Winks is just a young Leon Britten, making 5 yard backwards and sideways passes doesn't make you the new iniesta.

We had a 2 year window to achieve something. That has now passed.

We will do very well to cling on to a Champions league place and I expect it will be a complete rebuild in the summer.

I don’t understand your question ?
The sugar daddy, everyone keeps saying we'll never be on the level of those in front of us because we don't spend the £'s etc.

If you sell out, are you happy that you have joined those you have been chasing or do you say this isn't for me anymore as a fan we've sold out.

Well, personally, I don't see it as selling out. Unless the new owner was a murderous despot I honestly wouldn't care about their background. I just want to see us win the league in my lifetime. If that means getting a super-rich owner, so be it.

Hornby was right then.

Who knew a gooner would get something right?

Winning the title was our only progression option from last seasons 2nd place and this was never going to happen when you fail to invest. Our lumbering,32 year old back up striker is a prime example of our intent..

I think Trippier gets a raw deal as he is not Walker and people seem to think because Aurier looks and acts cool that he is somehow better when , fairly clearly, his good points have been outweighed by numerous errors and crazy fouls. Trippier was keeping Walker out of the team on merit last season ,although I accept that Walker is probably the better player but he wanted to leave. It's the same with Davies and Rose to a large extent -Davies is seen as a bit dull by many but has probably been our most improved and consistent defender this season

Walker was dropped because he wanted to leave. It has proven to be the correct decision for him and Rose and Dier will be kicking themselves for not doing the same.
