No way is any regular first teamed leaving in January, especially not an English one given our current home grown issues for champions league registration.

If he would move to Leicester it would make sense but at the same time not. Leicester is a decent team and 20M for him is good but is it smart to sell him in January? Maybe maybe not. I would only accept this if KWP is his replacement
We wouldn't sell him if we didn't think KWP was ready.

I think it could be a smart move if it frees up funds for other areas. As decent RB as he is I don't think he has the potential that Aurier and Walker-Peters have.

I wouldn’t mind this, but be amazed if we considered it in January. Trippier out and KWP promoted in the summer is something I’m keen to see though.

January might be too soon to sell Trippier. With the CL , the league and FA Cup we still need him to finish strong this season. Plus if he makes the England WC team and does well, we can always hike up the transfer fee in the summer.

Two itks in there saying the exact same thing so either they are just two ****s (entirely possible on a Leicester forum) or there is truth in it

30mill+ would be ridiculous money

I like Trippier but would prefer nice pacy full backs / wing backs.

I think Aurier will be even better given time under Poch’s wing and the best result for me would be for Walker-Peters to claim first choice spot as having talented players we bring through with Spurs in their heart (like Kane / Winks) is pure gold.

Trippier has a lovely delivery but we are getting to that stage where we want to be the best and if Leicester are gonna throw 40 million at us for him I’d take it and re-invest in other areas (such a strong possible replacement left-back if Rose does go and also our engine room / centre forward options).

It’s not being a selling club, it’s being wise in the transfer marker and knowing areas in team we need to improve.

Trippier is class and by far the best 2nd choice (if that's how he's seen) in the league. He'd start at any team out of the big 6 wouldn't blame him for going, and at some of the prices mentioned I could see us cashing in.

Wonderful delivery, just a shame he's a bit slow

The Leicester fans seem to think Trippier is the Messiah lol

He’s good going forward but a complete and utter liability at the back. Aurier, KWP and Dier in an emergency, bye bye Tripps.

A little harsh, I'm an Aurier fan btw but he has been much more of a liability than Trippier, I'd say with Wanyama back Trippier would play much better.
