What're the next records up for grabs?
Fastest player to get 100 prem goals?
Most goals in a season?
Most hattricks in a season?

I have a feeling Kane will go for most goals in a game, which would need to be 6! If we're up it to come the Swansea game, I wouldn't put it past him to score 2 perfect hattricks :playful:

He's getting towards level where I honestly don't know what price you could even put him at and what he's worth to us.
Thanks to Neymar, PSG and soon Mbappe pushing the market to astronomical levels I honestly cannot see how any team could possibly afford his price tag.

Pundits can run out the can we hang onto him thing, but it's more luckily to us no one could afford him right now. His contract is till 2022 so the only risk will come going into 2021 if he hasn't signed contract but I'm absolutely certain this summer they'll give him a huge new deal going into new stadium and extend it to like 2024.

Talksport drivel about him being Bezema's replacement at Real Madrid. Based on what, you might ask? Ronaldo putting his arm around Harry in front of the cameras at the end of the game at the Bernabau......

Interestingly, chief shit stirrer Neil Ashton speaking on NBC.
He said Tottenham are planning to make Harry Kane one of the highest paid players in the league with a bumper new contract.
He thinks he'll definitely be signing it.

Sounds like he's been tipped off about it, has he written anything anywhere regarding this?

Neil Ashton has a weekly segment here in the US on NBC Sports Network in which he goes over the front/back pages of the print rags. One of the things he showed this week was on of his own stories with the lame pun headline of "HARRY SPAIN." He basically said that his info indicates that Kane is off to Madrid in the summer. I'd love nothing more than for Kane to stay (and I think he will...for a long time), even if for no other reason than to stuff that story back in the face of that smug fuck.

Neil Ashton is a hack.

Well I think he has that personality that provides for a very successful career after football. He's the perfect role model and example of how to achieve success and behave once you have it. I think it's the footballers that are more anxious about "what do I do when my body can't earn money playing football" who are more likely to chase the wages. A footballer's career is short and insecure one.

As long as we have a team that is good enough to help him get lots of chances on goal and he's payed a very respectful wage, he's probably considering quite seriously about giving his career to spurs.

My boyhood heros - Keane, sheringham, defoe, who are really good forwards. But Kane's goalscoring record is massively ahead of them. And Kane can even make goals rather than scoring goals. We are just too lucky

From the BBC on Kane's record......

For club and country combined, it is FFS Dele and Christian Eriksen who have provided the most assists for Kane with 10 apiece, while Kieran Trippier setting his Tottenham team-mate up eight times

We pay the biggest bonuses in the league. People only ever chat about his basic wage not being enough, I’d imagine he’s on a huge goal scoring bonus.

I’ve seen the bonuses on offer to Vorm and Trippier. I can only imagine what someone like Kane would be on!

Put it this way, when Arsenal pipped us to 2nd place the other year, Vorm personally lost out on hundreds of thousands of pounds just from dropping that one position! If we won the league that or last season both he and Trippier were in line for a bonus that went in to the millions, each. That’s the back up goalkeeper and at the time, the reserve right back.

It’s why we haven’t seen all our top players leave or push for a move. Think about it, if they could genuinely triple their wages at virtually any other top side in the country they’d all be off like a shot.

Our approach to bonuses are the way it should be done. Massive rewards if you perform

I also love that the bitter fans looking to downplay Kane’s achievements have to go back to freak goal scorers like Dixie Dean or our man Greaves, two absolute legends of English football who played in an area where each team fielded a minimum of five forwards and there were 3 times as many goals scored in a game on average!

With the new stadium and records to break, not even a question he is leaving in the next couple of years.

And I’ve no doubt Levy and Lewis will take care of him money wise.

Relax and enjoy a player up against Greaves.

Its on here some one quoted Levy as saying everyone falls behind Kane money wise - I can well believe that.

Alan Brazil banging on about him being a target for Real Madrid or Barca on the breakfast show. Predictable and it will keep going on and on regardless of how much he gets paid, how recently he signed a contract and what we win.
