@fullback03 on Twitter....not sure how reliable he is but he posted this

@vkon1 The bonuses at Spurs are incentive based and colossal.
The Balon D’Or nomination, Champions League qualification & being winner of the Golden Boot allegedly meant Kane’s wages crept above £300,000 a week last season. Alli also averaged out over £120,000 with his add-ons.

I have very little doubt our players can earn considerably more than their basic. I would love to know how it's fair on less glamorous players.
How could Wanyama, Winks, Dembélé, Sissoko get much more?
Even the defenders, a clean sheet bonus?
Danny Rose is gonna be fucked off of Dier has a brain fart and we concede if Danny worked his socks off for 90 minutes.

Clean sheet bonuses are a thing, it's not all goal related.

So he’s happy, financially secured the future for himself and generations of family and scoring goals. Can’t we use the money elsewhere? Too many greedy ****s in football. Makes everyone think the real talent is how big your bank balance is.

In addition to wages there there are other boosts to their income..

Image rights, boots and other sports manufacturers payments, console games links etc, promo stuff

Then other smellies \ shaving products like the Liverpool lot.

I remember way back when one of my daughters knew Victoria Beckham sister Louise in Cheshunt, the Beckhams had a deal with one of the sports brands, it may have been Nike, loads of money and as much free products as they wanted. All they had to do was go into a sports shop take what they wanted and just sign for it. They sure did, all the family got kitted out real good.

No one knows what he or any other player be it at Spurs or not actually earns from football, on the pitch, endorsements, or any other associated income.

Why so many in SC get their necks wound out about things they cannot influence is beyond me. Whatever Levy pays will never be enough, so once this is understood then perhaps we can move on and worry about things more important in life like why does toast thats dropped always land butter side down?

Honestly never knew that. Just wanted to try it out, but it's a sin to waste a good piece of toast.

You have to give huge credit to the Daily Mail. Having access to every top flight players salary is some fucking achievement to say the least.

I mean if they didn't have access to all this totally confidential information that must have been supplied bu multiple sources, then how on earth could they provide such a comprehensive list?

My dear friend, I thought it was a well known fact, you butter the toast after you've thrown it on the floor.

For every goal HK scores, I wonder how much of a performance related bonus Levy pays himself?

That would be true if he hadn't scored a single goal this season...but our contracts are highly incentivised so id guess hes earned a fuckload more than that.

It never gets mentioned as it doesn't follow the narrative.

 You mean at Tottenham they have to work for their money?!

Ye this is old news. Like it or loathe it don't act surprised.

When you look at the wealth inequality in the world - hell in tottenham itself - the coverage of clubs 'only' paying 100,000/week; 'only' spending 20 million on players is actually fucking disgusting.

Talk about neck? Wilshere is refusing to sign a new contract at Arse... sticking point wages!!

He has been either on loan/drugs or injured for the last three years and he wants more dosh?

Think it was meant to be £20k. Then add appearance bonus. Win bonus. Bonuses for getting into the cl (under harry our wages went from around £60m to £90m when we qualified).

If there is embarrassment it is that clubs pay some ludicrous wages without players actually having to do much.

There is a downside to that only in that it becomes harder to shift "lesser quality players" to afford to buy/pay wages of "better quality players" as the lesser player isn't going to give up his new improved wages for less elsewhere.

I agree other than that.

Also why the fuck am i replying to a comment in a thread based around something the daily heil has made up/guessed at? (ignoring my own rule :bag:)
