Live Media Coverage

Tournament
: Premier League Round 21

When: 4th January 2018

Kickoff: 8:00pm

Stadium: Wembley

Referee: Mike Dean

Team Form: Spurs WLWWW West Ham WLLDW

We won the reverse fixture 2-3 at the Olympic (I refuse to call it the London) stadium, but we have not won both league meetings in a season with West Ham since 2012/13,

West Ham have only won 1 of their 15 away league visits to us - D5, L9 - winning 3-0 in 2013 under Sam Allardyce. However they beat us 2-3 at Wembley in the EFL Cup this season, overturning a 2-0 half time deficit to do so. The last 7 meetings between us in all competitions, with us as the home side, have produced 29 goals at an average of 4.1 per game

Kane has scored 7 in his last 6 games against West Ham in the league, long may it continue

In honour of their most only famous fan, here's the Ray Winstone guide to Spurs - West Ham

How will our front four play? Sexy

And Wanyama? Beast

And the least involved player for us? Hugo

How many will we score? 13

How many will they score? Nil

And how will we taunt them? By Mouth

Because their fans are? Scum

And their Board are? Fools

What, even the old geezer, what's his face? Gold

Yes, him. How on earth did those two make their money? 44 inch chest

And that's pretty much it. I did consider squeezing in references to 'Face', 'Zipper' and 'Everything', but couldn't for the life of me work out how I might fit those in with Karren Brady's employment alongside David Sullivan :cautious:, so I'll stop there.

We better show up and play the full 90 against them. Not like the first two matches against them when we sleep walked through the second half of both. I’m sure they’ll be fired up for this one. I’ve heard they won the World Cup on this very ground in 1966.

I'm already pessimistic. We should win, but at times this season we've looked complacent. You summed it up perfectly for me. We want this, it's ours.

In each of the last two seasons they have impacted relatively heavily on our finish, tonight is a big opportunity to open a gap on arsenal and we must ensure we keep pace with the current top 4. Anything other than a win tonight is potentially a big problem.

The fact we should win almost inevitably means we'll piss it away, and as mentioned before the arsenal game, this whole Mike Dean love in isn't a good thing. He'll be actively looking not to be seen as favouring us.

He's been shocking for us this season. Not good news.

It's been a lottery this season with referee's. Good ones have been shit, shit ones have been shit, every now and then a really shit one has only been shit. I more or less go in to every game assuming there will be a couple of really poor calls, I just hope they go in our favour.
