You can hardly use the other night against Swansea as an example of what could happen. They were the worst conditions we’ve played in for years on a terrible pitch. As you said, we were dominant in that game until the pitch was virtually unplayable.

City aside, we have been clinical in 5 of our last 7 games. I expect the same again... Kane hatrick!
I don't care if Hugo gets a hat trick as long as we shut these peasants up.

He’s not a type of player I’m worried about, I’m worried about the Carroll and ogbonas or anyone else that can header it

Who gives a fuck if they nab a goal at a set piece, if we can't outscore this shower of shite with practically a first team out...

Why exactly is Winks no longer starting for us?

I assumed it was a bit of decent management from Pochettino. He got a lot of unnecessary stick post City after his poor performance (albeit against one of the best sides in Europe). So I assumed it was a confidence builder and a slow ease back into things. Most fans and media have short memories.

I think this is the first time Poch has only one defender on the bench. Does that mean he doesn’t trust Foyth or KWP or does that mean he’s changed his views on the bench. I hope it’s the latter

He had a bit of a dip in form at the end of Nov, start of Dec, IMO. Looked like he lost a bit of confidence, and started being reluctant to pass forward. Only way to get him out of it, like Alli, is to play him though.

I think Poch wanted a bit more stability in the engine room to get us through our rough patch.

An out of form Winks is a much better option than Sissoko in CM. Much better.
