15 million is a pittance for a young, English player. If he had a decent contract you would be looking at a figure at least 50 million. Shocked we haven’t made a move. Do not understand it in the slightest

Seems like Ross has lost patience with us. Pretty clear we were originally his first choice.

Agreed. Chelsea were willing to take a 30 million risk for him when injured and moved early for him now. Probably more concincing that they want him. While Levy waits to sign him on a free so he can sign a crap French winger for the 15 million he would have to pay.

Think he made clear he only rejected them because he was injured at the time. Wanted to stay at the club he knew to regain fitness. Not good to join a new club injured and start off on a negative
