Poch always takes the moral high ground with refs etc but Fergie and other top managers would have bee putting pressure on match officials weeks ago for never giving Ali any fouls or particularly penalties. It is possible to still show respect and get the message across.

So you think we somehow have the same kinda revenue to spend as the clubs above us, and the 'regime' is choosing not to?
Multi billionaire owned us, club going to be worth 1.25 billion when the stadiums built, champions league football , billions of tv money you tell me. It’s embarrassing when a player of Zaha class didn’t come because C Palace offered him more wages so yeah that says it all! We ain’t going no where under this regime I hope I’m wrong but until you can see the bigger picture no trophies of titles , champions league will be coming our way. Maybe League or Fa cup in ten years. Like I said hope I’m wrong but Mr Lewis and Mr Levy will be licking up the gravy that Spurs have invested in our training ground and stadium because Enic haven’t invested. Did you know since Poch has been at Spurs we’ve had a bet spend of 24 million. Says it all ......

Just remember everyone.., Wembley. Don’t get above yourselves, we’re not playing at home, the stadium is shit. I hate excuses but I do acknowledge reasons.

Keep on supporting Poch. Keep it real. Frustrating against them but it is what it is. Also.. 2 days rest.

But today's dropped points has got nothing to do with Wembley.

You can’t blame spammers for the tactics. But you don’t think City come up against this most weeks? The difference is they have the class of players to break these teams down and we obviously do not. And clubs have figured this out and keep playing this game against us and coming away with a draw. I’ve been saying all season walker was a loss that was not replaced and we just don’t have the pace we need. On top of that we don’t have enough Players who can pass the ball really quickly and have that soft touch and balance you need to play around weaker teams. Having said that. Poch also is at fault as we would have had a better chance with at least one of Winks, Wanyama or Lamela on from the start. Watching Sissoko and Dier play sideways is frustrating. Song tried but was doubled up on and had to go back all the time. Harry had 4 players around him all the time and Eriksen just was not quick enough. Terrible game to watch but we have seen 6/7 games like this already.

City do have better quality players, that makes a lot of difference, but I go back to attacking structures and patterns of play..... They also do this better, quite a lot better. If player A is dropping off for instance then player B is running in behind, or if one has come inside the other takes the space vacated on the outside etc etc.

That's a tactical thing and down to coaching and drilling the awareness and pattern play into the players. They just have better structures to fall back on. This is definitely where, in my opinion, we need to evolve our game.

Would we have won with bale and modric in the side? Fantasy food for thought.

Kane had 2-3 opportunities inside the 6 yard box, decent delivery that normally bury at least 1 from. Not today. Aurier’s header into him that he miscontrolled, Alli’s miscontrol racing into the box, there were a number of golden opportunities that were wasted in both halves that don’t even tally up with the number of shots we had.

The pot shots you could also lay at Kane’s door to an extent. He put one about 15 foot over the bar from around 25 yards.

Our crossing was poor too, but the ire is reserved for 2 players whose remit it was to win the ball in the middle and lay it off to Eriksen? A remit they actually carried out pretty much to the letter.

I do agree with those having a pop at Poch for not making the subs earlier, but the SOLE reason we didn’t get 3 points today is because our frontline were poor.

Mate we didn't need two ball winners to win the ball when we had 75 per cent possession lol, that's the whole point.

Poch made a mistake by playing both of them, and after seeing West Ham's team he could of tinkered, which was exceptionally defensive looking.

I'm not blaming Dier and Sissoko but Poch should of at least addressed the mistake at HT and taken Sissoko off, dropped Eriksen back and brought Lamela on.

The point is that would of increased our chances of breaking them down more cleanly.

The chances you're referring to where not that great in truth as we never had enough time and Space in and around their box.

What we needed was more guile to create better quality chances and disrupt their shape more.

They were happy to let us have the ball so why on earth reduce your quality on the ball by having two defensive minded midfielders when we're not having to compete that hard in the middle to win the dam thing.

Tactically we were flawed tonight and what made it worse was Poch just sittIng there failing to address it and not playing the percentages to increase our chances of winning the game.

Then they score and then he reacts, simply way too late.

And thats coming from.a Poch disciple!!

Love him, but definitely got that wrong tonight, big time.

How can you not blame the refs when they completely influence the result?

We should have had two pens directly before West Ham score, we worked ourselves into an attacking position where we could have scored and were prevented by illegal play which should have resulted in two penalties.

It’s the refs fault, even if we played utterly shit it makes no difference, he has influenced the result, something which could be incredibly costly for us at the end of this season.
Because if they are as bent and corrupt as everyone is suggesting then we need to take the game out of their hands, it’s the only way to beat them.

I'm certain with 25 minutes to go with the scoreline 0-0 we'd have won. All that territorial dominance would have eventually led to them caving in and having expended so much energy defending and with little time one goal would be enough for us. I'm not faulting the effort of the players - we played well enough to win - but them scoring first was not in the script given they barely ventured forward in the game. It's absolute bullshit on our part.

On the way home from the game. After not scoring in the first 20 odd minutes this result was always on the cards.

We seemed to want to take too many passes around the area rather than shooting or crossing it in.

The manager was too slow with his subs again.

Feels like a defeat. They were the worst team to come to Wembley this season. Utter dogshit.

One bright note for me was Aurier, has improved a lot in recent times but I still think his final ball needs more elevation he hits the box and gets the cross in but it is generally at waist or chest height and not usually getting past defenders.

Low point of the march for me was in the 1st half when Sissoko passed a lovely square ball to the touchline.

With Lamela and Wanyama back, I hope we don't start with Sissoko for any more of our PL and CL games.

If I see the Dier-Sissoko midfield pairing again I think I’ll cry.

Sissoko playing was pointless. Give Wanyama and winks or Dembele 45 minutes each. I'm not hating on Sissoko tonight but he wasn't needed out there. He just did nothing of much use.
