You said this ..

"if we do not make a good run in this FA Cup and Push on to get 4th, then MP should not be the Man to lead us into the new Stadium"

Which is, quite frankly, horseshit.

Now that's u mate saying that not me. but if We have won nothing and Kane moves to RM who is that on.

Levy, poch, kane and the team it will be on all of them.
Poch has done a fantastic job with the resources he has. I can't think of a manager that could do better. We all want a trophy none more so than levy or poch but if we fail that is no reason to sack him or have you forgotten how bad we were for 20 years?

I don't think the issue is Poch doesn'tunderstand the importance of such games.

I don't think he plays Sissoko because he underestimates a team.

I think he sees value in Sissoko's physicality. I believe he is wrong on this point in general but overall in my view he is very much the man to take us forward.

I would say then that he does not understand the importance because he started Sissoko, now He didn't start Lamela because he is not as Physical ok fine, Why would you not Start Wanyama and then Sub on Sissoko.

If We prefer to come in 4th or 5th with a good cup run every now and then, then ok Pochettino it is, if we want to push on to win things then Pochettino is not that person imo, not taking anything away from what he has done it just Seems to be all he can do atm
Mate you can't be advocating that we get rid of the best manager we have had in over 30 years just because we drew against the romanys.
I have supported this club almost 50 years and while we don't win fuck all in the way of trophies these days this is infinitely better than the mid 70s or the sugar years, hopefully the next decade may see us push on and be a real force or maybe not but we are in a better place now than we were previously.

It sounds like you are misinterpreting the word 'importance.' I don't believe Poch played Sissoko becasue in his mind this was a weakened team. I believe he played him because he felt this was the strongest team.

Wanyama is coming back from a long-term injury so using him as a sub is understandable.

We can agree on Poch getting some decisions wrong but I believe you are incorrect in thinking Poch is playing a weakened team on purpose.

This is the most ridiculous post I've read. You do realize City struggles to beat the spammers and only won by late goals because they did the same thing. How do you tactically play around 10 men standing still and not giving space in and around the box? Without a creative midfield like a Modric to pick a pocket all we can do is keep going and moving the ball about until something opens up. It's dire to watch the players try and struggle but to say it's Poch fault is ridiculous!
I would think that it should not be that hard to play the ball around 10 men standing still.......

Mate you said "...then he's not the man to lead us into the new stadium". What do you mean if not that he should be sacked?

Just stumbled across this absolute beauty of a thread. To be honest OP has had a bit of a mare, not because this is his opinion but purely because you need to learn the art of disguising the knee jerk.

Did you know it took Keith Burkinshaw 5 years to win our first trophy? I share the frustration of not winning a trophy but if anyone can get us a trophy its him.

I have never seen so many unnecessary capital letters in so many sentences before. I need to go and have a lie down.

You might be prepared to watch us fail again and again and again @lukespurs but it is some of the Same ole Spurs we are not being clinical enough that's on Pochettino
So our highest ever points total and best finish in the Premierleague and league in 50yrs with a lower budget than all of the top 5 is failure is it? I’d call it achievement! Who do you think could’ve done a better job than him that we could’ve got as a manager?
You’re a idiot, actual idiot.

Blimey, this West Ham game don't half bring out the loonies, doesn't it? I wonder if some people should even follow football. Good old cheese rolling would probably suit them better.

Not sure how a pacey player would have helped. Run down the wing and put a cross into a box with 10 defenders and maybe 1 striker? Was that much difference to what we did?

Pacey players make a huge difference to Man City. That moment of extra acceleration. Getting to the second ball a split second before their defenders. Pressing faster when we lose possession, therefore allowing their players half a second less on the ball. All that matters.

Son was our most likely outlet last night because of his pace and willingness to run at a man. If we had 3 players with that sort of pace and movement on the pitch we probably would have won.

IMO it's that combination of pace and movement along with technical ability in the midfield that makes City a level above.
