You can't say something is just "my opinion" if you are wilfully ignoring all the evidence that goes against your view, it's not your opinion you are just wrong. How can Levy not back the manager when the according to every source avalible it was poch that said no?

What your actually doing is using this to pedal your agenda when this has nothing to do with Levy and spending money

Playing devils advocate its worth mentioning that ITKs usually get their info from just one side (Club, personnel, agents etc) so its hard to take anything anyone says as gospel as it only represents part of a story.

The best thing for all to do is to just enjoy the ride and see what happens. We are lucky that we get an insight into the club regardless of how correct we deem it to be.

Hope Hercules post isn't refering to Trix, fear it is but hope that doesn't mean Trix stops feeding us.
I hope I'm not wrong in saying this, if so I'll delete but I get the sense that Herc is a natural optimist and Trix is more circumspect which, if we care to make the effort, gives us a really healthy overview, we just need to man up and stop getting the hump when things don't go our way.
Please keep it coming guys.

Trix said earlier that he was done. Hopefully he doesnt mean for good. :(

Re: Steve Sessegnon - is it the case that RS won't sign unless we take his brother into the academy?

Or is his brother actually any good?

Edit: Open question - not direct to Herc

His brother played for England at the U17 world cup, including playing in the final, so he must be pretty good.

Most definitely, mate! And I'm sure if the ITK stated it had nothing to do with Levy's tightfistedness, you'd do exactly the same, my friend! Always have huge respect for your opinions though GB, even though I often disagree with them. Happy New Year to you mate!
Fair play John, we clearly have very differing opinions on Enics ownership, but you always put your views across in a polite and adult-like manner, which is a lot more than some posters can bring themselves to do.

Thanks Gb! I could write the exact same post about you buddy. Take good care mate!

In one of my earlier posts before this window, I stated we would be upping contracts to be on par with top 4 clubs in the summer.

Is this dependant on Champs LGE qualification Herc?

I know it's not a popular opinion atm with Ross signing with the Chav's but I trust Pochettino and if he believes the deal wasn't right then I'm all behind that. The fairly meteoric rise with Levy and Poch all whilst building a new stadium and playing some of the best football (consistently, we've played great games before) of my lifetime.

At the start of the season, I'd have been happy with top 4 and a cup run, both are still very achievable and with a bit of luck will be achieved. The new stadium is massive for us next year and with wage increases (in theory) on the way, we'll manage to really start being one of the big boys, rather than compared to them.

We have got a special manager and the best forward in the world right now and both are looking to stay, competing for honours on a consistent basis is what we all want and tbh it looks like we will be (with a bit of luck)

Maybe they see Ryan’s position more forward as a winger.

I think everyone does to be honest. I don't know much about Steven but yes, he is his twin. Literally. Left footed left back/left mid. Both are also the cousins of Stephane Sessegnon, played for West Brom and Sunderland.

Whilst this is promising news, are our finances so intrinsically linked to being in the stadium that we have to wait until the summer before improving players contracts? The additional finance generated by the stadium isn’t going to be obvious overnight is it?

It being a World Cup summer and most of our squad being on show, id have thought it prudent to have our key players signed up before they left for Russia.

There was ITK in the last window that the banks were putting limits on the club's spending whilst the financing for the stadium was uncertain. That was sorted out by the last window, if not the previous one. Consequently, the banks restrictions were lifted.

I assume the result is that we can increase our wages to somewhere approaching a competitive level with the other top clubs.

Only seen his brother play right back and he was very good.
