Hope he does well if it eventuates. Would be good to see him playing regularly in the PL.

Yeah, hopefully getting consistent game time will help him come to grips with the league. He is a talented player but just hasn't worked out for him.

If Burnley were fighting relegation I wouldn't want this to happen because I don't think he would get enough game.
players like him will get sacrificed for more workman like pros but hopefully with Burnley being comfortable they will take a few more selection gambles.

It will be interesting to see if he can get into their team. A very cohesive unit that has been together for awhile. That’s if this is true

http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2018/georges-kevin-nkoudou-to-join-burnley-in-the-coming-hours/

Former French youth international and Tottenham Hotspur’s left-winger Georges Kévin-N’Koudou is due to join Premier League surprise package Burnley in the coming hours until the end of the season without an option to buy, according to L’Équipe.

N’Koudou was not a man without offers; in accepting Burnley, the former Nantes and Marseille player has turned down opportunities with St Étienne, Malaga, Fiorentina and Real Betis, with OGC Nice having placed the player on their shortlist.

Targeted equally by West Brom, the player believes that his best chance of integrating the Tottenham first team in a considerable way is by learning how to play in the Premier League and also because Sean Dyche played a huge role in convincing N’Koudou to make the move, with a personal phone call doing the trick.

N’Koudou was impressed by Dyche’s record of fostering young talent, evidenced notably by his handling of Danny Ings and Michael Keane.

Is there a future for N’Koudou with Spurs? Club chairman Daniel Levy refused to include an option to buy in this loan agreement, convinced that the player can succeed at the club in the years to come.

Either convinced he can succeed or do well enough to raise the price for the summer and not be bound by a set fee now.

Do we think he suits Burnley?

Personally I think he will have the same problems there as he has here.

Good that it's Premier League, will show his qualities to other teams and make a transfer profit possible. Not like Clinton who no one in England were willing to touch, hence the cut price deal back home.

Edit; I see that the article mention a no 'option to buy' clause. Poch has obviously future plans for him :D

Sounds like a great move for him. I do think he is finished here though.

To an extent he will but despite Burnley impressing this season so far, they don't play with the same intensity as we do. They also don't have the same level of creative options there so i'd expect him to be more involved.

This could be a good loan all round.

I've not seen a single glimmer of talent from this kid, as likeable as he is, I just haven't. If this move comes off hopefully it means a place in the squad for Marcus Edwards, who seems destined for the top for me.

The Georgian kid in the other thread looks to have the one thing a lot of young players don’t have and that’s intelligence. GKN is very quick and scored a couple of decent goals for Marseille. However, he’s the wing version of Walker in that his brain is 2-3 yards behind him every time he needs to pass, cross or shoot. Ps I’m referring to Walker from an offensive perspective.

Skysports now reporting that he is on the verge of heading to Burnley on loan for the rest of the season
