@dovahkiin any ITK on the other sites about Toby’s contract. A certain site we won’t reference here is claiming the extension is done, that site only does this when they have ITK from a real site like SC or COYS. Cheers

Just had a friend mention this (didn't specify source) so there must be something going around...

Really hope that the news means we're getting someone in this window. Race for places 2 to 4 this year is going to be very tight; we should do everything possible to ensure we have CL football in our new stadium next season. And that means spending money on a couple of players that will come in and immediately make a difference.
The info doesn't suggest that really.

"Will hear within the weeks, through to summer"

From the OP of the very first Daily ITK Discussion Thread:

Secondly, we're not interested in any way, shape or form in hearing about a rating for a post given by any particular ITK. Nor are we interested in hearing about a smiley or emoticon that may have been left by JJetset. None of it is ITK.

This thread went to pot last summer partly because stuff like constantly reporting who left what ratings and double, triple guessing of completely made up rubbish, such as why a comma was missing and what that might mean. Hercules gives out enough information to discuss as it is, we don’t need this kind of over analysis and it should stop.

Hercules latest info definitely sounds like sponsorship news. He mentions business a couple of times, but doesn't mention players. He also mentions that we'll find out over the coming weeks and months which sounds like a series of announcements about our new stadium partners.

Isn't there also meant to be an announcement about the NFL games soon?

So based on Hercules info and what he has click winner on I guess we are looking at signing say Sessegnon this window and then a massive stadium sponsor deal in the summer.

If so happy days (fingers crossed).

I was under the impression that if we activated the "extension" on Toby's contract, a buyout clause became active.

"Telegraph Sport understands that the clause is only active in the summer of 2019 if Tottenham take up a one year option and extend his deal to 2020. Alderweireld’s contract also states that any transfer would have to be completed at least 14 days before the closure of that summer’s transfer window."

We've done our business and a shit emoticon at then end. It must mean we've fitted the toilets into the new stadium.

Don't know if I missed this a few pages back or if this is in the wrong place, but the newly reported 7m agent fee for Barkley's agent seems to line up with some of the ITK saying there was more to the deal falling out than just his injury. Say what you want about wanting business done in January or liking Ross in our squad, but even for Tottenham his move became quite a headache logistically.

7m in agents fees what a waste of money just think what lower league or grass roots football could do with that and that is just one transfer, no wonder the game has lost it's soul and heart with vermin like that draining the game and fan's dry.

People need to stop posting media reports/stories in here. I don't care if it's so closely related to ITK that it could have two thumbs and be living in Norfolk, NOT in here.

This is for ITK. What follows is for the players threads. It's simple. Obviously, so are some of you.

Coutinho says hi.
I think I should have worded it better,I meant we don't tap up players in the middle of the season.I mean if it was a really big signing to get excited for there's no way everything would have been agreed 6 months earlier, that's no how levy roles.
