This guy is so underrated. Not amongst us, but to the broad football world. He's lighting quick, a ruthless finisher and almost every goal he scores is a beauty. Also want to reiterate what was mentioned above, his positive attitude is infectious.

Slightly unrelated but we are so lucky to have him and Kane. My highlight of the season so far has been his and Kane's back to back carbon copy goals at home vs Dortmund. Both of them rifling it into the near post corner on their weaker foots.

Son had me tearing my hair off in his first season as his first touch was dire to say the least. He has now completely corrected that and is firmly one of the best attacking players in Europe.

Do we have a song for Son? I have seen the rhythm is a dancer one online, but I have never heard it from our fans at any of our games?

He is one of our best players and is extremely popular by the looks of it. Hopefully someone more creative than I can come up with one!

Agree completely, I know it’s not the most important thing but it’s getting a bit embarrassing having to sing a general spurs song every time he smacks one in at a crucial time.

Surely heung-min Son my lord to the tune of kum ba ya or nice one sonny nice one son would be simple for everyone to sing

Even ‘we’ve only got one son’

Needs to start away, hard enough to get a oh when the spurs going at Wembley...

With reference to some of the shite he's had from west ham (and thousands of millwall fans when we played them) i think it'd be quite fitting to sing

He's one of our own...

I love how pissed off he was in his interview post match yesterday. None of the usual cliched footballer interview bullshit, he looked genuinely gutted. Now considering the goal he scored, that's the kind of attitude I want to see. He's a winner, he wants to win.

I've never seen a player do a post match interview like that. Closest thing would be losing a cup final not a draw and you scored a 30yd cracker.
He was absolutely fkin gutted.
I thought he was gonna cry near the end.
Liked him as a player from day one but he keeps getting better and his attitude and enthusiasm is fantastic to see.
Awesome.

One of the most persistent forms of blindness is the inability of impatient fans to see that it takes 90% of imported players at least one whole season to adjust their playing style to the league. The only exception I can think of in the last 5-8 years is Davinson Sanchez. And even he makes daft mistakes sometimes, especially when he lets attackers get the wrong side of him.

Every other one of our best players who were trained in other leagues has taken at least a year to get over the shock and adjust to the pace. But most fans never learn.

Very much so. As Son has gradually mastered his first touch, which was his great weak point until this season, he has developed into a threat that affects our overall attacking plan.

Son is one of the finest, cleanest strikers of a shot that I have ever seen. He needs to be encouraged to take more shots from distance. Because he can shoot forcefully, accurately and with movement on the ball with either foot, having him moving about at pace near the edge of the penalty box, left or right, means that a defender has to come out to mark him. If he positions himself intelligently, that breaks up the deep, defensive block that we are having so much trouble with at Wembley.

As well as producing goals directly, it clears space for Kane, Eriksen, Lamela and Alli. More than anything else, we need to figure out how to create space in the final third against determined, organised and defensive opposition. Son can be a crucial part of that.

I was one of those admittedly. I was particularly critical of his attitude after that Anfield drubbing last season actually. Since then though he has not looked back.

Funny story I met a south korean today, while in tesco I had my spurs jacket on.....and she went absolutely nuts I was terrified.

Then I clicked she was going on about son and started showing me her phone screesaver he's literally beckham over there!

She wanted to take a photo and everything with me really weird experience lol!!
