Not at all doubting JJ or Herc's information - the oppposite in fact, I absolutely believe that they're both very well connected mofos who are passing on gold to us - but I will be stunned if we sign someone in this window who will make a meaningful dent in the first team between now and the end of the season. I also don't think my supposition (based on nothing but my own gut instinct) contradicts anything JJ or Herc have had to share with us so far.

I think this Window is the most important one. Buy a Player om the summer and it takes 3-4 months until he makes an impact.

To be honest thats what MP wants for every player in his squad but the reality is that players like Jan Toby Christian Hugo Harry will always be ahead of Winks Davies and Moussa.Hope levy’s tactic isn’t sending dick pics to the WhatsApp group

Yup, great point and is only the natural order of things. It’s one thing having a deep squad but another keeping them all happy, especially if you’ve always got a strongest eleven in mind. Anyway, thanks as always for the info, it’s no surprise I spend half my life on here.

All sounds very positive. Guess the only vestige of doubt is whether we are trying to sign anyone from a shithole country. Would be a major setback to prep for the pre-season if we can't get visas for the new signings ahead of the standard USA tour in July.
