Never ceases to amaze me that some people dont understand this.
Its like Englands odds in world cup or english teams in champions league. They dont really believe Liverpool or Arsenal have a better chance or same chance as RM Barca etc but in Britain more money goes on the Engliah teams.... because there are a lot of English fans. Who knew lol.
You don't see many poor bookies

When you consider that we are essentially adding a healthy Wanyama, Alderweireld, and Lamela to the squad - I would say we have improved the situation as much as, or more, than Liverpool (added Van Dijk and Lallana, but minus Coutinho), United (Maybe Sanchez?) or Chelsea.

If we actually sign anyone it would be a bonus.

Stating the obvious but end of January/ beginning of Feb will be pivotal to our chances of top 4.

Man U home, Liverpool away and Arsenal home in the space of 10 days. It would be very useful If we could avoid defeat at Anfield and get 4-6 points from the home games.

It is now 4 teams fighting for the positions below City, goons are toast and they’ve yet to deal with losing Sanchez and possibly Ozil this month.

We have the toughest fixtures, us and Man Utd have all 5 of the other top teams to play.

Liverpool have four to play, Arsenal three and Chelsea have four.

We absolutely must win some big games when they come round.

Catching Chelsea and Utd that's our best chance.

Liverpool going forward are breathtaking, regardless of their defence.

annoying comment by Alan Green, commentator, that ' for once, Chelsea and Man Utd fans will be cheering on Liverpool' - No you idiot, completely the opposite( and, of course, he didn't mention us............)

This. Liverpool are in a good place. We need to cash in on the bad feeling at united and chelsk.

For some reason my Utd supporting friends are happy about this, think they're deluding themselves thinking the title isn't gone and they won't fall out of the top 4.

I hate it when refs dont add on adequate time for a substitution, a yellow card and a goal. At least Liverpool didnt gain any goal difference on us.

Title is gone, even with lpools result tonight.

I genuinely think second place could be ours. Toby coming back, Vic and Lamela back.
