Liverpool are doing what City did to us. They really got at our defenders and goalie and ruffled our feathers. Stone's and Otamendi love time on the ball

You could say the same about Son to be honest.
Son is excellent and I love him, but Salah has been better this season and much more consistant. Obviously Son hasn’t played as much, and if he can play like he has of late against the best of the best then I may change my mind. But currently I would pick Salah ahead of Son if I had to choose one.

Its looking likely that we would have to depend on Chelsea and/or United to drop points for us to qualify for next season's CL (unless we win it this year ;)).

Liverpool always fuck up against lesser teams.

I think top 4 as it stands right now is what it will be at the end of the season. Cant see anything else.
Have you watched Chelsea recently? We're only three points behind and they are not looking good right now. United also had three draws in a row against poorer sides before they beat Everton and have a few slip-ups left in them.

Liverpool are playing superbly and City are oceans ahead but why resign yourself to fifth when we are still going for second?

Son's been consistent in PL longer that Salah. We'll see if this purple patch of his lasts...

They are doing what we tried to do but failed miserably at. Liverpool press so much better then us.

Anyone making absolute statements about the top 4 right now is being stupid

Anyone except city could drop out and anyone down to Arsenal could get in

I think it would take something miraculous for Pool to drop out of the top 4 as things stand, the momentum from this win alone will probably carry them until the end of the season.

The only thing that could possibly stop that momentum would be us but we both know we will likely lose at Anfield.

Cheering on the team immediately above us against a team who are out of sight and we have no chance of catching. Odd.

Get a grip mate, it’s jut a football match. If we’re good enough it doesn’t matter how well Liverpool do.

I want city to get demoralised, I don’t particularly like either club but at least the bin dippers haven’t come out of no where by winning the lottery.

The United game is massive now. United know it.

That's why they're going balls deep for Sanchez now as well. They know they're vulnerable.

They struggled all year when that happened though

They got thrashed on the first day of this season by Burnley, what exactly is the definition of struggling all season?!

I'm not saying they're going to finish 10th but to guarantee they finish top 4 is nonsense.

And that includes Liverpool. There is a reason Liverpool are only 3 points ahead of us. While there home form is outstanding, away from home they are a lot like us. I think they’ll get top 4, but the battle between us, United, Chelsea and Liverpool isn’t done yet.

Liverpool are usually very good against direct rivals.
Some of you are as bad as the BBC

Think we'll still finish above them
