0 posts praising Spurs after battering Everton.
20 posts rimming the dippers for beating city.

Oh well, onto ignore you go.
There are some constant doom merchants on SC granted but I dont think Piedpiper is one of them. Up to you of course.

The numbers are pretty damning mate, its obvious what his game is.
This place would effectively be RAWK if all posters were like him.
Nah, not for me.

Crazy match to behold. Not too impressed by the Man City defense. Thought that Stones were out of position and couldn't cope with the pace of Salah and Mané. Got dominated by Firminio and sulked

I get the title of thread... But are we not allowed to laud the mini success or excellent player acquisitions of another club? Or acknowledge that they have strengthened wisely.

Does one always need to placate our own support base with a we are better mentality.. Ive tried avoiding comparing because that was never the emphasis.
I applaud excellent player acquisitions but the reality of the situation also needs to be grasped. Many of these players acquired by our rivals were wanted by us but chose to go elsewhere because they were offered huge salaries. We are also handicapped by the vitriol that Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham have for us. This makes it hard for a player, such as Salah, to join us.

Thanks for the civil response. I dont think we were after those players but im sure we would be able to compete in the foreseeable future.

Can't wait till we're in the new WHL. It'll make a huge difference. Have to give it to the scousers...Anfield may not be a fortress, but it definitely creates an atmosphere that fires up the home team, and intimidates the opposition.

Fully agree. There is a tier of clubs financially... City chelsea and united are in the 1st tier financially. Luverpool and Arsenal are likely tier2 I think we in the 3rd tier and the stadium development will help get us into the 2nd tier.
We have a very good manager and we have had our constraints over the years. Hopefully it will start to ease off. There is still the stadium to pay off but it will get earsier to attract and compete with those aforementioned clubs.

Mane I thought was too expensive for us at the time, Salah is good but 36 million for us is a lot of money to pay for someone who isn't an automatic starter.

Then again we spent 30 million on Sissoko, 20 million on Janssen, 10 million on GNk and 10 million on Llorente. So Liverpools two signings were definitely the better value. Lets not forget though that Salah refused to shake hands with a couple of Israeli players, for that reason alone I'm glad we weren't in for him.

As you may gather as pro Israel as I am I do kinda get this. The level of shit he would of recieved wouldn't of been worth it..

Does the average Spurs fan care about this?

I'm way above average and I couldn't give a shit. Even the few dick heads that might have made an issue would soon have forgiven him if he played half as well for us as he has for the Mickies.

Why would they or anyone else know all the private details of how much players get paid. They're private contracts just like the ones we have with our employers.

I think that could be said about the majority of facts people use, some are verified in papers also, you see them occasionally. Do you think they are on more or less than the figures quoted?

I think you mistakenly think he would have LIKED to have shaken their hands but didn't for reasons of pragmatism. I beg to differ.
