The kid needs to play, and at a decent level. Should be good for him, let’s hope he can take it by the scruff of the neck and make the most of it.

There’s definitely space in our squad for a young forward to come in and shake things up if he can prove himself.

It will be interesting to see how he deals with the physicality of the Championship.

I will now have to keep an eye out for when Norwich are on the TV!

hope he has a better spell at Norwich then Harry did. Don't think he'll get another chance to prove he's ready for spurs.

I'm not saying this is nessicerily the case here but I hate when a player has a vocal entourage, it should be Marcus, maybe an agent and pochs decision, not his mates

I think the last player to be so vocal about demanding more playing time was Bentaleb...

Poch has said this year that he does not like players knocking on his door asking for more minutes, I have to assume ti applies to the youth players as well.

Winks and Onomah both did the same. I'm just pleased to see Poch realise the potential benefit of loans, and allow these players to go out and develop rather than training with him 24/7

TBF Poch's methods arent necessarily correct either

Taking players away from the youth setup and not giving them minutes in the first team nor giving them any playing time what so ever isnt a way of developing youth

KWP and TOB both have this season been playing no football what so ever. You cant show me examples of players who have got better from playing no football during their development

Theoretically in terms of his development you'd imagine the plan is 6 months at Norwich where he'll hopefully show his worth, returns and we extend his contract, then a one year loan with a PL team to gather more experience, then he'll return 2019 approaching 21yrs old hopefully ready to be a squad option.
Think that's the best you can hope for, as its really hard to see him suddenly making the bench here next season as I'd imagine we'll make a couple of signings in summer.

Not opposed to this at all, he may as well go on loan and Norwich at least try to play some football. I'm sure he won't be starting every game, but at least he might get some sub minutes and be part of first team match day squads etc, which is more than he's going to get here.

Isn't it kind of ironic if this is a deal linked to us signing Maddison, considering whenever I watched them this season, Maddison looked promising, but Pritchard was better.

Maddison has created more chances than any player in Europe's top 5 leagues.

Pritchard still has more assists pm than him.

Don't get me wrong, I think Maddison looks like an intelligent player, I'm not averse to the kid at all, for a few mill, worth a gamble. But to be fair to Pritchard, he's just coming back from a lay-off and a tough previous season. If you compare Pritchard's season at Brentford his chances created was 0.27 per game (3 to 2.67 per game) off what Maddison's is this season.

Haven't seem any Norwich games this season, do they play a nice style of football? (unlike Villa)
