perfect environment for him at Arsenal, he can still carry on throwing a strop and his passive manager will just allow him to get away with it, great for team morale.

As always, please bear in mind that Balague's comments are at best just nonsense, and at worst proof that the opposite is happening. His success rate of getting transfers wrong is better than any journalist's success rate of getting them right. If he says something is going to happen, you can safely assume it won't.

In the same way that I would take Balague comments with a pinch of salt, I'd take Daily Mail claims that Arsenal want Martial as part of the Sanchez deal with a pile of salt.

He's probably basing it of Bellerin following Aubemeyang on Twitter

Considering how unhappy Man U's forwards (bar Lingard and Rashford), this could stir the pot even more. Strange move by Arsenal. Guess they're just desperate to recoup as much as possible from Sanchez, when he should be costing more than Coutinho.

You think he's signing for Arsenal to get revenge on nasty old Spurs? Have a word.

Iirc he was really upset and angry at our people calling at his relatives. I'm not saying that's the case necessarily, but footballers are human, and humans very often hold grudges. Often for things that outsiders would find bewildering and petty.

"Manchester City have decided not to pursue their interest in signing Alexis Sanchez."

I hope they do he old switcheroo.... but they are clearly worried about FFP, why else would they let a player like Sanchez go for what is a pretty small fee.

Yeah who knows. Maybe he's demanding 400k a week and £50m for his agent or something ridiculous.

Could well be, good signing for United TBH he is much better than anything they have on the left, right or middle, and I doubt FFP regulations would ever really bother them with their income.

If Sanchez goes to Utd I'll be seriously fucking annoyed. An injection of world class quality into a pretty ordinary team, who we just happen to be competing with.

The only silver lining is what a pathetic excuse for a football club Arsenal have become.
