It's happening Everton fans

Theo Walcott is expected to undergo a medical at Everton within the next 24 hours before completing his move from Arsenal in a deal worth in excess of £20m.

Mata has 18 months left so doubt he'll be around long either.

Further to this, it turns out United haven't triggered their option so Mata has just 6 months left on his contract:

Mata on the move?

BBC Sport

An odd bit of non Alexis Sanchez related news from Manchester United.

Juan Mata signed a four-and-a-half year contract when he joined United for £37.1m from Chelsea in January 2014.

There is also the option for an additional year's extension.

However, as United are yet to trigger it, Mata could, if he wished, start negotiating with overseas clubs about a move away from Old Trafford on a free transfer.

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for Everton fans.............. they go and sign Walcott
Part of me hopes they don't sign him in time to play against West Brom this weekend. If they don't, he'll most likely make his debut against Arsenal at the Emirates.

Chelsea interested in either Carroll or Beneteke????

Is there a shortage on striking talent???

Conte is a fool for not rating Bats.... he had so little game time yet he scores for u... And u are going after a couple of jokes who couldn't even make it in at a decent club like LoLFC.

For his system to work he needs a battering ram which is why he's going after those players, them signing Bats had nothing to do with them actually wanting him, it was more to do with blocking us from buying him.

Their transfer strategy has been pretty bizarre these last few years. Buying David Luiz back, selling Costa, buying Morata even though they only really wanted Lukaku, signing Barkley when stocked in that position, selling Matic and replacing him with Bakayoko and buying Zappacosta who isn't an upgrade on what they had. I'd also argue that they haven't really bought anybody in a long while where you think "shit, that's a big signing for them "

Yeah. The funny thing is that it's actually ended up biting them.

Who would bother going to Chelsea in this window though? On the outside it seems like a very unstable club.

Conte probably won't even be there next summer and there's been some bizarre situations at Chelsea in recent times where both Manager and the Club are to blame.

Even though Costa is a prick, Conte handled that situation terribly. The David Luiz thing is also baffling, they sold one of their most consistent performers in Matic to United, Batshuayi doesn't even get a look in, Morata is already rumoured to be unhappy and there's whispers this will be Hazard's last season. There could be a lot of change there this summer.

Theo Walcott moving to Everton on the back of a stellar career for club and country. Outstanding professional, brilliant attitude, great bloke. Me, I like that sort of thing. Counts for a lot. Good luck, Theo.

'stellar'. Really? Squad player for both, lots of injuries. Not great nor exceptional, but not average all the time either.

I saw that and don't agree with Lineker or Cross. Lineker's criteria is particularly weak when you consider England selections of the past. Apart from a hat trick against Croatia, I don't remember any standout performances from Walcott. He's just sort of been there, for both Arsenal and England. There but not the stand out player.

To simplify. ..if I may.

Kevin de Bruyne.

Always brings a smile to my face.

This fan on the BBC doesn't agree John:

Gweedo: Forget Sanchez the big story is Theo. 12 years we waited for him to be good. Thank you, thank you Everton. We’ll miss his wayward shots, his runs down blind alleys and his yearly injuries.

Wenger doesn't want Aubameyang. Wenger knows that he's trouble, hence none of the top clubs are remotely interested in him.

I agree. Ive said since the recruitment guy from dortmund joined that it doesn't matter what players he puts forward. Wenger will decide who he wants. He's too stubborn and arrogant to let someone else bring in a signing for him.

I wonder if they fancy Janssen?

Just don't tell them he's played for 2 clubs already this season so cant be registered to play for a third!
