I think if there is any relevance in this, it's that we are now packing Edwards off on loan, just as we did Pritchard, and are talking of buying Maddison - because he's got some senior games under his belt.

To put it into context haven't we been chasing this lad since we signed Alli?

Clearly we rate him. This isn't because we saw him dribble past a Yoevil defender once on TV when we couldn't sleep.

Poch has said in a press release that he'll give Edwards his Premier League debut when this thread gets to 100 pages

Ironically, this thread was a perfectly good and broadly on topic read, until it got to all the posts complaining/counter-complaining about it being off topic! (And yes I'm aware I'm now contributing to that (n))

Adding a bit further to my previous post about Edwards, this loan should be great for him. Norwich only have a couple of wingers and since getting rid of one of the murphy twins to newcastle and now pritchard who played on the wing or behind the striker he has a great chance of starting a lot of games. Maddison if anyone wants to know mainly plays behind the striker. He's a bit like Alli and lampard, he gets in the box a lot for crosses but can also smash a great shot from distance and it is a pretty powerful shot. I've watched a good few Norwich games with him playing but as well as that the Norwich fans think he is brilliant and would be pretty gutted if he is sold. Thing is that he is full of confidence and looks like he can play at a higher level.

Back to Edwards as i said he has a very good chance of playing on the right wing as the other Murphy usually plays on the left and has sometimes played as a striker when needed. Farke the Norwich manager likes to play with wingers from what i have seen so again with norwich only having Murphy and Wildschut (maybe jarvis but i have not seen him about, maybe injured) Edwards should get plenty of game time.

Can’t see this being anything but a good thing. Edwards clearly not atm in the first team picture so going out and sampling professional football will do him good.

Though what all this has to do with Marcus Edwards I'm not sure.

Haha, spilt my coffee. Love Pritch but that's football. Maddison looks an interesting proposition. Fingers crossed.
