Junior/Adult Membership Cards at Wembley

bought tickets via membership for me and my boy for a forthcoming game, as it turns out my boy cant make it, anyone know if i can pass his membership card on to a friend to attend? i havent noticed any attendants at the point where you swipe you card checking previously

There won't be any problem with someone else attending. Maybe you could make sure it's another child using the ticket but I've never seen any spot checks.

Ticket exchange outside of the authorised platforms is a criminal offence, and the club will usually forcibly castrate anyone found breaking this rule outside the ground.

The club obviously don't try very hard. Stand anywhere near Wembley station and there will be a tout within 20 yards of you.

Isn’t there a light or something that goes on when concession goes through the turnstile. Read somewhere a female trying to enter got a membership card Confiscated as it was a junior one....

Think it works the same as if you try and use a kids Oyster card to get the tube, a light or sound will alert the security guy waiting after the turnstile.

You'll have no problems. If anyone causes a fuss just tell them I said it's ok.

I looked today, at each turnstyle there’s 3 lights, green when they come in and if concession also a yellow/amber one. If the steward who searches you sees it you’re in trouble. Saw two fellas pulled from the inside of the turnstyle and lead away by a handful of stewards.

Stewards weren’t paying too much attention so it’s a percentage game....

Well I’m a concession and I’ve never noticed anything other than 3 green lights when I scan my ST?

Maybe juniors then....the lights are not as you pass through but above them on the inside so the stewards inside can see them

Years ago at WHL I got offered a seniors ticket for a game against Chelsea as it was on my birthday. Got stopped with it by the jobsworth at the turnstile and sent to the ticket office, had to pay the full price for a duplicate match ticket... Would assume it's still the same process.

Probably not much help in this particular instance, but in the past I've bought a senior's ticket for me using my 4yr old granddaughter's 'Dribbler' membership without a hitch.

If it helps when I contacted the ticket office about my son's ticket for the united game I got this response via email.

"We do offer matchday upgrades, subject to our discretion.

This is generally only withdrawn upon Police instruction, if the game sells out exclusively to One Hotspur members or if we deem that the season ticket is being upgraded at every fixture and is therefore not being used by the named season ticket holder.

We will always advise upon request in the week leading up to the fixture if this is the case however, I would anticipate that most matches this will be available.

Please call 0344 844 0102 (option 2) in the week leading up to the fixture to enquire on availability. Lines are open 9:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.
