Interesting. Cheers

Still wouldn't have thought it would affect Edwards then.

I prefer Edwards played on the right, but there are some that see him as a "10" or ACM as well.

The other thing is that there is only so many squad/bench/team spaces for particular types ie FB's/CB's/CM's/AM's so adding another young, but more experienced, body to the Am group could potentially take a squad/bench place that might otherwise go to Edwards. But, of course, that is supposing a lot of things that are nowhere near happening right now, like us signing Maddison, Edwards impressing enough on loan to get close to our first team squad etc etc.

No question for me Edwards does he’s best work around the box and he gets loads of penalties. £5 bet he scores a worldy free kick in first 5 games. Be a bit ironic considering we haven’t scored one for about 2 years.

Think if maddison stays he'll be taking the free kicks.

Not exactly the classic definition of irony.

Just seen this on the BBC. I thought Edwards couldn't play as he wasn't in their squad for the first match but maybe I'm wrong?

Canaries on a run
Chelsea v Norwich (BBC One, 19:30 GMT)

Daniel Farke's Norwich, 13th in the Championship and six points off the play-off places, have kept four clean sheets in their last five games.

They are unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions and beat League Cup semi-finalists Bristol City last weekend with a goal from James Maddison, the recent subject of interest from Tottenham. Talking of Spurs, loanee Marcus Edwards is available and could be included in the Norwich squad.

A word of caution though, the Canaries have been knocked out of the FA Cup at the third round stage in the last four seasons.

They are wrong.

“Competition rules stipulate players must be eligible for the original fixture if they are to feature in a replay.“

They certainly said that when he signed...

Oh well. Would've been nice to see Edwards get a run out tonight.

Looks like all eyes on Maddison.

Cue the...

He's shit
£20 million, kin' no way

And of course the mandatory. Nice hair.

Have to admit not really took much notice prior to Spurs being linked, but always nice to cast a beady eye on a player we're linked with.

Have to wait for Marcus' debut it appears.
