We could become the official team of North Korea if he turns into a world-beater, assume that's the only market that Madrid, Real and Utd have yet to tap into. Imagine Kim Jong-Un in a Spurs shirt, Levys dream.
But seriously, seems to be doing well in Serie B, and Juve are apparently interested, so must be decent.

Am I missing something? Why couldn't this transfer be a goer? No prices are quoted but I imagine playing for a seria B side, he's going to come at a low price.

A good player is a good player, doesn't matter where he comes from.

Read this mullers. It might give you an idea of the sort of insanity that we might be getting into.

No problem with the player. But if his whole family could be imprisoned or killed because of some perceived fuck up on his part we have to be very careful. Especially as we have the star of s korean football playing for us.

"Stemperini insisted that there had been no official contact with Spurs but revealed that Liverpool had been interested before Han Kwang joined Cagliari. He added: ‘Officially, I do not have a call from Tottenham. There are several officials, from Germany…it’s normal that several clubs ask about him. ‘Because he is a youngster who is playing very well, who here in Italy is being followed by Juventus, an important club. It’s normal for everyone to talk to me. But officially, from Tottenham, I do not have a call."

Sounds like agent bollocks to me. He "likes" Madrid, Barca, Juventus and all the Champions League English clubs ..

I'm sure we would do our homework. Playing for us would make him a big star in North Korea and else where. Son seems like a very cool guy, I am sure there would be no problems there, if he came to us. Who knows it might even be an opportunity to show how sport can bring people together and make a difference.

Maybe. The club as you say will have to look at it first.

I'm on the fence in this one but can see possible trouble.

Genuine question, how does someone from North Korea get to play football, discover he's good at it and then join a professional team? Who scouts there lol?

The NK government will not allow their people to speak to any media whatsoever so pre and post match interviews are out plus it is also alleged that they take the money earned by the players.

It's a brutal regime.

Playing in Italy, so possible that his parents fled North Korea and he wasn't actually born there.
Edit - Was born in Pyongyang, so like you I have no idea.

They play international games and youth international games. Guessing there would be scouts at those.

Weird innit? You play in house only, think you're good and then finally play someone from the rest of the world and discover you suck balls lol.
