I tell you what's more puzzling. That we bought him and sold Micheal Dawson. That's what's more puzzling.

He just never looked good for me. I never thought we could keep a clean sheet with him in the team

He needed to be paired with a quick defender. I thought actually Fazio was a decent defender and has proved to be in both Spain and Italy

Too slow. Plays in slower leagues and looks a better player shock. Along with about a million other players I could mention.
Is amazing though how so many struggle here but look mustard elsewhere.

Would be OK in a defensive side like Chelsea or ManU but can’t play in an attack minded side where he has too much ground to cover

I'm guessing, but you might find that what goes on behind the scenes with training, advertisers, media, etc is much more intense in the EPL than it is in other leagues. Added to that, on the pitch it's a long season with very few easy games and packed stadiums, even at the perceived smaller clubs.

At the end of the day, it's the most popular league in the world by a mile. You need to be mentally very strong to hack it.

I actually saw him at the San Siro when Roma beat Milian this season, and he looked really good. True the Italian league is a bit slower, but it just shows you how some players just cannot hack it in the Premier League for whatever reason.

I always hate when players say stupid shit, although it is quite common.

There are so many factors in why a particular player at a particular time may not work out with a particular team.

Look at Paulinho, utterly shocking with us but playing fantastic at Barca, the timing, the pace of the PL and the state of our club at the time just meant it did not work out.

You can find so many instances of this in football and there should be nothing puzzling about it really.

I just read some quotes from Aubameyang earlier stating he would never entertain the idea of joining us because we apparently messed him around in 2013, showed him around the ground and then after everything just didn’t initiate contact again, I just think that’s a really stupid way to think, it’s 2018 now and a lot has changed (not that I want him after saying that but you get my point.)

Essentially what I am saying is, most footballers are stupid spoiled brats that never take the blame when things go wrong but are happy to take the plaudits when things go right.

Thankfully our players and manager are quite good (for the most part) at admitting fault and being honest about the state of things but that’s more down to the environment Poch has created than anything else.

Anyway, I lost my point, Fazio was not good enough for a top 6 club in the PL anyway imo so makes no difference really.

Now, this is top top top sports writing

"Fazio played 31 games for Spurs in his first season after joining in 2014, but was soon out of the first-team picture under Mauricio Pochettino for turning slower than a bloody bus."

I think a lot of people are blinded by the dreadful Arsenal display.

He's a very accomplished centre back, he plays for Roma who are doing brilliantly in Seria A and the CL.

Ill tell you why, if he played against us every week, Harry would have overtaken Jimmy Greaves already.

Yet your manager was Argentinian, Fedders.

And I’d have thought no one knowing you when you go out was a good thing, no? What are you, Lindsay Lohan?
