Sanchez is a better player than Son. Son's a good player in a fantastic run of form while Sanchez is in a dip, but let's be realistic here.

You're underselling Son by calling him a "good" player. He's a great player and has consistently performed for us, hasn't sulked once, doesn't ever give anything less than his all and isn't nearing 30. I wasn't being unrealistic, I would not swap Son for Sanchez.

Recently I've been thinking if this was 2008 and not 2018 Son would be our best player and would be the player who all the media are trying to sell. Because we've got such quality these days he gets overlooked.

Sounds to me like Mkhitarayan is going for a hefty pay day, that won't end well.

I think it's crazy that such a talented player like him is being used as a makeweight in a deal, absolutely crazy.

It also makes no sense, as surely transfer fee plus Mikhayarianananian means United are paying the best part of £70m/£80m for Sanchez before hefty wages and agents fees. No wonder City ducked out.

I can't understand for the life of me why PEA would want to go to Arsenal

Makes no sense
Like I said previously, I don't get any player going there right now.
Not challenging for title, out of FA cup, in the Europa League and likely to be searching for a new manager in the summer.
There is one answer and one answer alone... Money

Makes no sense

Maybe PEA has seen all the vegetables on Arsenal Fan TV and thinks he'll feel at home there.

Maybe PEA wants to pit himself against the mighty Spuds

Maybe PEA likes to be beet

Maybe PEA's agent has been offered a suitably big carrot to get his player to sign

Or maybe PEA has been offered a fantastic celery.

Or maybe PEA doesn't want to go to Arsenal and his agent has just leeked a story to the press to stir up interest.

Or maybe I should stop all the stupid vegetable puns...

Arsenal going to have an incredible window by the looks of it.

If you watched Arsenal's game last weekend against Bournemouth, you'd have to think they'll be busy this window because they have so much work to do to improve their first team, it's barely believable. Their decline is looking quite desperate now. I can't really see how they'd go through this window without spending quite a bit, just to get them through the end of the season. They really were that bad. And almost anyone you don't have to google [(c) D. Rose] would improve that front 4 (i.e. one without Sanchez & Ozil).

And the thing is, they are losing their best player who had a good deal of grit and determination - part of what makes him a really top player - and replacing him with Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan doesn't really get them a couple of lions back in.

So while they are good players and it'd improve Arsenal's outlook immeasurably, they'll be banking on them hitting the ground running and they still lack a bit of steel to compete at the very top end. They could come up smelling of Roses because a motivated Lacazette, Ozil, Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan is a pretty strong quartet. But there's a long way between here and there.
