Would rather keep him than let them scum bags have him. Sure he’s been a bit of a flop, but imo that’s because when he comes on we don’t play to his strengths.

I don't know if there really is anything in this but maybe it's time we decided that dealing with Chelsea is no longer taboo if it benefits us.

3 against Notts Forest, 1 against Norwich, 2 against MK Dons, 1 against Qarabag Agdam. He scored 2 against Watford mind.
Yes, yes, yes Mr. I'm gonna find a way to poop all over this. Hope it made you feel better. He doesn't chose who he plays. He can only play whatever team is put in front of him. I'd rather have a player who scores against said opposition than doesn't score.

Even if we were interested in the swap which I very much doubt we are don’t think batty Boy is gonna come here and get even less game time than he does for Chelsea. Complete non starter for many reasons

If we can do a swap for Michy Batshuayi I'm all for it.
Yep, one less problem position to think about.

Doubt he would set the world alight but has to be better than Janssen, Llorente, Soldado etc.

Chelsea obviously don't think so if they're trying to orchestrate a swap deal.

I've never been impressed by Batshuayi, at least in a Chelsea shirt, and would much rather we try to get one or two of their top youth prospects if we deal with them at all.

I get the feeling Chelsea would actually put crosses into the box for him and he would do well there. It is a no sale for me. Plus, I doubt Llorente would agree to it.

I would be open to a swap for Batshuayi (Llorente + £10 mil) as I think Poch could improve him..Seems like a good kid and scores goals off the bench plus would offer us pace. I rememeber Alderwereld was disappointed we did not get him before he went o Chelsea.

Who says they are?
Fair enough, I didn't actually read the article and assumed there was some interest on their end given the discussion in this thread.

Regardless, they are definitely trying to jettison Batshuayi and if they are actually targeting Llorente I think it's fair to say that Conte (who is no mug) doesn't agree with the notion that he "has to be better than Llorente."

Wouldn’t sell, he’s fine, not sure what people expect from someone who has had 216 minutes in the premier league this season, spread across 13 matches out of the 23 we’ve played. To put it in context, he’s played less than 10 minutes of premier league football per week since the season started.

If Kane gets injured or suspended I have no reason to believe he’d fail to contribute a decent goals/ assists over a run of games.

If we get £30M... I can't see Levy turning it down.... Huge profit for his £12M transfer fee...

Maybe we can see if Everton would like to offload one of their young talents... Maybe Lookman who is most likely has drop down the pecking order.

We can always get Jassen back whose goals have also dried up in turkey.

Don't get me wrong... I like Llorente, I think he can link up with Son and Alli... But 18M profit in less then 6months is fantastic.

I don’t think there’s any chance of a swap deal but Batshuayi would be cup-tied for the CL and that would be pretty terrible.

Replacing a world cup winning experienced striker with Ademola Lookman, who is a winger and can't even get into a bare bones Everton side?

I'm not even a Llorente fan but do me a favour.

Are you drunk? Anyway, there's no chances for Llorente and Bats deals IMO.

Give him credit, he scored in the game against us in August too.
