Would be a bit counter intuitive to loan him back. We need anither option at AM and I think this signing could be a real boost to the squad morale as a whole signalling that we’re going for our goals in all comps(top 4, trophies and CL)

Poch has actually said this today, signings are not only a boost for him, but also the fans and the dressing room.

There is no way we are breaking our transfer record and loaning the player straight back.

Don't think it would be loaning back, it's like Liverpool have done with Keita. Maybe they were asking astronomical money for now but less if we agreed to have him in summer instead.

If he's a target and the option is not getting him at all i don't think it is. Gotta look forward. And it think it will be a moral boost no matter what. They (the other players) sees that we are serious and want to bring in top talent and that we don't want to do last minute deals - at least when we don't have to.

Bordeaux are just two points above the relegation zone, so it's easy to see why they want to keep him for the remainder of the season.

Why are we not in the equation? We all know the truth;)

If we want a player, even if he wants us, please understand that it is not them preferencing the club to ours. Had to put that out there. Other irons may be in the fire-possibly?

Don’t buy the media trash that we are second cousins in our oref

On your last point mainly. That will change (wages) in summer, so all past-tense. Bigger club? Let’s see at the opening of new stadium. We will then have the best facilities in all aspects to the gypsies that reside in Islington. Off-field they are no match to us in any department.

The influence of our new recruitment team has no rivals. If you only knew.
This is the bit I love and completely agree with ‘patience is a virtue’ good times are acoming. All the years of pain will have been worth it. COYS and Herc you’re a bloody legend pal.

Or maybe thinking they will get taken to the cleaners on his price if they do get relegated so want to cash in now...

They could probably bolster the squad with several good players (for them) for €40m, which could serve them better

How about the full name of Malcom Filipe Silva de Oliveira?

Surely you more than anyone know the risks we like to take in the transfer window.

Secure someone now and have them arrive before the summer or get someone second rate on August deadline day or possibly even nobody. I know what i'd rather we do.

I guess he doesn't have any caps for the Brazil squad? Surely if he has any chance of making the world cup squad (which I presume are slim) he would be favouring a move to us now and try to impress as much as possible to try get in the squad. Obviously he won't be a starter.

He's not a full international no.

Its always a good idea to secure summer signings early. Just think we also need to get someone in now for this season to help us secure CL for the new stadium

You do of course realise that in Brazil both the letters 'L' and 'm' are silent. It's pronounced Aco.

If he is not a Brazil International, how will we manage to get a work permit, or does he have a dual passport with EU country?
