Wonder what the remaining steps are at this point. Seems like numbers are close or agreed, the player seems to have agreed per reports as well.

What I glean from it:

- He is a successful dribbler with 3 dribbles per 90 min
- He gets dispossessed 2 times per 90.
- His expected goals is really low but averages 2.5 shots a game. Probably due to a shit team and having to be the major creator on the team.

But in comparison with the Liverpool trio of Salah, Mane, Firminho you can see they are dispossessed at a higher rate, but their expected goals are above and beyond where Malcom is. Why? Quality of play is a huge factor for sure. It would be interesting to see Malcom's numbers on a quality team. Would he get more touches in the box which would up his chances and expected goals? Would his passing percentage cut down a bit but would his throughballs rise? Tough to say.
