How would the payments work with a deal that was going through in the summer? Would we start paying them now, or when the player actually joined? If we start paying them now I guess they can strengthen their squad now and also keep playing Malcolm.... although a serious injury would invalidate the deal so that wouldn't make much sense. I guess it just comes down to whether they want to keep their best player for the rest of the season, or lose him now but possibly strengthen a couple of other positions with players bought with the money that we'll give them.

It isn't a question of wether or not I find it funny, or anyone else for that matter........ the problem we have is precedent. Because the perp (I love that word) thinks its amusing doesn't mean it should be allowed otherwise the rule would pretty quickly go to seed and everyone would start posting what they think are 'funny' images. All the rules for this thread are there for a very good reason.

This hasn't done me any favours at all because now I have to use the iron fist on one of SC's decent guys.

So I'm going to remove it, then him and then go make myself a large cup of chilli hot chocolate, a hot water bottle and watch the cricket.

I imagine that there are multiple times more situation similar to this which we’ve never even heard about. The issue is that, thanks to the internet, social media, etc we know so much more, so much earlier than ever before. Don’t make the mistake of thinking anything is signed, sealed and delivered until it is officially announced by the club, or else you leave yourself open to massive disappointment.

The main thing anyone should take from all this lovely ITK Herc is giving us is that the club have identified a way to improve and are doing everything in their power to achieve it, which is all we can ever expect ultimately.
