Oh my days. ..

Neil Custis ( the Sun )

Talking about Chelsea being linked with Andy Carrol, Crouchie etc, a striker that would offer something a bit more physical up front.

Custis comes out with this beauty...

If it wasn't for his injuries, Andy Caroll would be another Kane.

Comedy Gold achieved. TW*T

Proper banger. Love it.

Custis totally forgetting that Caroll had to live with Kevin Nolan for a while because he was being a right tool out and about in the Toon.

Being the model professional Kane is, I don't recall him having to be babysat.

Exactly. Everyone knows Kane is where he is because of attitude and workrate. Adebayor had 4 times the natural ability that Kane has and he never came close to consistently scoring in volume like Kane has.

Is it even a shock? These idiots have been talking utter bollocks yet keeping their jobs for years. Sunday Supplement is a weekly reminder that mainstream sports journalists haven't had any integrity for years, yet will keep their jobs due to a mixture of old boys' networking and saying stuff that is so stratospherically moronic that it generates attention that can be turned into a revenue stream

Ahhh I remember that, he's so up his own arse...a lot of these journalists actually believe their opinions hold weight and carry authority, when in reality they're just fans with a few contacts who can put a few paragraphs together.

Indeed, I remember one talking once and he actually believed that journalists are part of the England squad in international tournaments, he was talking like they’re on par with the players and back room staff. The egos on them are unbelievable

Do you remember when Zaha got in the England squad? Well in the press conference for it Zaha said “when I go on the pitch I tell myself that only messi and ronaldo are better than me”. One of the custis’ headline was ‘only messi and ronaldo are better than me’, Zaha took to Twitter to put the whole quote out and criticised the journalist, the other brother completely attacked Zaha’s character in his own column. ****s of the highest order the pair of them

Carroll is just a big lump of a foward, he would never in any scenario be as good as harry. aside from being a decent header of a ball, his a non league player, no pace, no control, no skill, no vision, no shooting, nothing

I caught that as flicking through the channels. Comedy gold indeed!

Knew there was a reason why this show is unwatchable. It’s way past it’s sell by date, populated by idiots who think they’re something they really are not.

Different sort of strikers. In fairness to Adebayor he did alright for us before his personal problems that messed him up. Personally I thought he did better than Berbatov

If Adebayor had Land's attitudes and workrate he would have the records Kane's now trying to beat imo. That was my point.

I remember listening to it at the time and still feel sorry for Ray Wilkins. I bet if it was someone like Joey Barton then Custis wouldn't have been such a grade a twat.

It used to be good when Jimmy Hill chaired it. But as already said on here now just 3 egotistical w***ers sitting round spouting bollox.

Even Paddy Barclay who I held in respect and whose initial appearances were credible has now sunk to the lowest common denomination of pondlife.
