This game has been pretty dire, not as bad as the Swansea game, but at least then we couldmblame the weather.

What a grim half of football. So many errors with the ball, without it we look a bit shaky, and our right side defence is all over the place and getting ruined.

Southampton have an initial bit of bluster with the press. In their half though they are so passive just stand off... You'd think if we were anywhere near our best we'd be picking them off and getting a comfortable victory. Second half hopefully.....

Poch must realize he has to take sissoko off here at half for once. He simply has to. Sissoko is just an awful, awful player

Don't like Aurier and as for Sissoko it's all been said
How Pochetinno pairs them on the right is beyond me

We're struggling with the sticky pitch so far. No one's playing well and Southampton are working hard. Hopefully Poch sits them down and tells them to simplify things - quick touches just aren't working on this pitch so far.

Need an improved performance second half but most of all it’s looking like one of those games (like Swansea away) where we just need to get the win and move on, particularly because of results yesterday and Liverpool likely to win tomorrow

wrong team today. should have played with dier in a back 3, wanyama and dembele in midfield and dele behind son and kane. Or the same system we use now with wanyama and lamela instead of dier and sissoko.

Aurier is an awful crosser of a ball.
Cant beat a man or cross a ball.not seeing anything to suggest he is value for what we paid for.whether its confident i dont know but reading poch's book all he talks about is being brave on the pitch.i dont see any of that from aurier, not like he hasnt had a run of games.

I actually think soton are passing the ball well. It's us that look utter trash in that department
The most frustrating thing is we're not exploiting the fact they are committing men high up to do it.

If we had a stable MF pivot we'd be off to the races with our countering.

Dele seems to have gone back to he was a few weeks ago of wanting too many touches and not releasing the ball quick enough.

Yeah, not his best half of football.

Need, bright and alert Dele second half, and we'll do the business.
