Can't help but think more than just two players were affected by that virus.

Nobody bar Verts seemed like themselves.

Kane looked leggy, Ali erratic - everyone seemed stuck in 2nd gear.

Win two out of the next 3 and not lose and we'll be in good shape for the spring.

Let's not shoot ourselves just yet. The team still haven't clicked yet this season for me. They've got another gear to go up into, but they'll have to shift those gears starting in 10 days time.

I sincerely hope that's what it was.

Lamela showing why he wasn't picked ahead of Sissoko.

I'm worried he isn't getting back up to speed very quickly. Understandable perhaps but it doesn't help us overall. We have a great front 4 but if anyone of them are out our options look very poor at the moment.

Same old Lamela as far as I'm concerned. Capable of brilliance, but largely frustrating.

2 points dropped.... Again....

Need a goal... And we bring in two holding midfielders. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

I blame Poch once again!!! Sissoko should never start and he played 90 minutes!! He made substitutions way too late as always! His loyalty to Sissoko, Dier and Alli is stupid! I swear to God if I hear Poch say that we showed good effort or blame someone else then I’m going to go bananas because this is your fault! You’ve been here 4 years and you still haven’t learned about making early changes! We’re playing too much, thinking everything will be fine and we will get top 4 but I promise you we will never make top 4 playing like this! We are the most inconsistent team in the league
I know you've just spewed up whatever floats around aimlessly in your brain, but we can't be the most inconsistent team in the league and be where we are.

What's the excuse there?

They didn't park the bus, just took us ten touches to do anything with the ball.

Again Pochettino sees what we're all seeing far too late, and then takes off the one player we have that can run with the ball.:banghead:

Slow, indecisive and ponderous (and they were our three best attributes today)

Really painful to watch.

We should also know by now that if Eriksen doesn't/can't start, then Coco absolutely must.

But if Lamela starts where will Sissoko play?

Some people have the blinders on for him and I have no idea why, shit footballer.

He takes Son off and he could have been the player that made the difference at the end.

Criminally bad management imo.

Btw, Sissoko had a good game FYI. He kept going till the end and set up chances. We didn't deserve to win, but the conditions were not good. I thought Dier and Sanchez were our worst players.

Are you serious? Sissoko had a good game? Is your surname Pochettino?

Toby rose eriksen would have made the difference today

Probably right, but every club has injuries.

Fact is Liverpool best City after selling their best player and without their new CB signing.

We’ve had years to buy a good alternative to Kane and Eriksen and failed miserably.

Things that shit me:

Exhibit A)
Bringing off a CM who's arguably been our best player today and replacing him with a defensive midfielder in the 85th minute when desperately needing a goal and there's already one on the pitch.
Exhibit B) Leaving a striker on the bench and bringing on a defensive midfielder in the 85th minute.
Exhibit C)Taking off your most on form wide-forward in Son when all of your other wide-forwards are having a fucking nightmare.
Exhibit D) The enigma that is why did we buy Sissoko, why did we pay so much for him, why didn't why buy someone else, why does he get so many starts over better players and how the fuck does he always stay on the pitch so long.

Always find it strange when Sonny gets taken off. He was at least causing their defence a headache as they know how dangerous he is, they were able to relax and attack us more when he went off.
