Are you kidding me? He was bloody awful as usual.

There's just no point with you people. The post you were responding to was bang on. Sissoko was hardly our worst and kept going right to the end and created chances that should have won us the game.

Dier and Dembele created nothing. Aurier was beaten repeatedly. Sanchez had his worst game in a Spurs shirt. Alli could get nothing going. Son barely touched it. Kane was outmuscled and outpointed and missed a glorious chance. Lamela struggled and missed the chance Sissoko put on a plate for him. Wanyama put the ball in Row z from 35 yards when we desperately needed composure.

Our best players were Jan, Davies, Vorm and then Sissoko. That is simple fact when you compare expected output with actual output. Does that mean he should be starting? No. At least not imo - BUT to pretend he was "awful" is just complete rubbish.

Why every time we drop points do I have to read this shit?!

Chelsea couldn’t score for 3 games up until yesterday, who’s to say that won’t happen again ffs? Liverpool and Man U have lost points to lower teams as well.

There is so much football to be played. But still I have to read this over-reactionary bollocks whenever we don’t blow away the opposition. It really is tiresome.

The joke of the situation is if we win the next 5 on the bounce you’ll get temporary amnesia and jump on the hype train again. I just don’t get why fans like you have go in to panic mode so easily. If you have watched football for more than half a season you should know how things can change so quickly. But no you rather just subject us to your shit ffs
To answer you question in short, that's Dave.

Meaning I probably wouldnt have mentioned him if you hadnt had said he had a good game.

Would love to know in what aspect of playing football you thought he excelled today?
As I've told others, I'm not here to help you solve simple problems.

I think we are overreacting a bit, they’re not a bad team and we’ve been on a good run since December. We need to step up over the next month or so and beat most of the other big teams.
'Cause we're the world famous Tottenham who always beats the big teams.. Dream on.

What a typical performance by us though, could have gone 4th and put pressure on pool and instead give them a free ticket.

Same against West Ham.

No wonder we are called bottle jobs.

Those laughing at Arsenal are gonna have egg on their face come end of season as would put money on them coming above us this year, in fact I'm gonna put a wager on now for it to happen

We have fallen so far back this year from 2nd to 6th and all the squads around us strengthen and we stand still. Would love to have the optimism Hercules has for next year and the summer but I think we have had our time to shine and have fucked it up again

So pissed with Poch today again, learnt nothing from west ham at home only 3 weeks ago

What’s worrying me is that it seems we have regressed in so many areas this season.

Everyone was saying how we had “hit form” again but I think the last few results (other than Everton who were shocking) have flattered us.

Today we witnessed what we have been witnessing most of the season, poor management paired with lacklustre application from the players.

I am betting money right now that not only will we not finish in the top 4 but we will also end the season without a trophy.

Makes me wonder if we have hit a brick wall with Poch and the only way over it will be to buy players that will improve us for significant money which I can’t see happening.

Obviously hope I am wrong and that this all turns out to just be a lacklustre season and nothing more and next season we will be back to our best.

But I just have that nagging feeling in my gut...

I'm disappointed with the result and think we've got a mountain to climb now but there's some seriously ridiculous things being said in here.

We don't know the full story. Players could have been under the weather. If that's the case then a draw is a decent result as it's fucking hard to do anything when your ill. Now imagine being expected to put in a big performance.

Lamela did more in 20minutes than Sissoko did in almost 90minutes
Love Lamela but this is just not true. So why say it?

Be more accurate to say Lamela did more that Son - and that includes missing a gilt edged chance.

Because in gods name we have a better overall starting 11 than 3 clubs who are going to finish above us. We've dropped a ridiculous amount of points against sides who are no where near our level. Resources aren't particular relevant when you've acquired footballers cheap who are now worth obscene amounts of money.
But we cant play our preferred starting 11 in every game can we?, like today.
Resources are extremely relevant when you look at the bench and who we could bring on.

That makes sense, let's base a prediction for the whole rest of the season on one bad performance
Oooo pithy. I'm basing it on the whole season. Have we beaten anyone in the top 6 this season? Do you expect us to based on previous performances? Add this most recent spectacular display on top and there you have it. I can further explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.;)

May get caned on the ratings but I don't think Sissoko played that bad today. Would have swapped him for lamela and not son but at the end he was one of the players who actually had energy left and was trying to drive on.
No problem on that. Just the issue of if Lamela could start and provide creativity right from the start, the chances of us leading may just be much higher and we could defend from there. Sissoko coming on later to 'drive on' will be totally more than welcome.

Top 6 next 3 games (excl. City)

Man Utd: Tottenham (A), Huddersfield (H), Newcastle (A)

Chelsea: Bournemouth (H), Watford (A), West Brom (H)

Liverpool: Swansea (A), Huddersfield (A), Tottenham (H)

Tottenham: Man Utd (H), Liverpool (A), Arsenal (H)

Arsenal: Swansea (A), Everton (H), Tottenham (A)

...

L. O. L.

We could be 9 points off top 4 come mid Feb, its over now, we just need to push for 5th so we don't have to qualify for EL at least as that could be a problem if new stadium not ready if we come 6th and have a EL tie to play in August
