What’s worrying me is that it seems we have regressed in so many areas this season.

As much as I think Poch several wrong calls today, looking at the bigger picture we're still falling short when the pressure's on. In the past couple of seasons we've looked like we can cope with the pressure better but I agree with you I think we're regressing.

I don’t want to be mr negative but I feel like us Spurs fans always talk about our project, that we will win the CL and the league in The future but we completely forget that other teams have project too. PSG and Man City wants to dominate football, Real Madrid will always have money and players want to play for them, Man United are a big club that can spend much money, Chelsea will upgrade Stamford Bridge and has a rich owner.

Thank you Spurs, my anxiety and depression is back

Some people need to get a grip. Yea we are going to be 5 points outside the top 4 come tomorrow 10pm but there is still 14 games to go. Big games to come. A result in 2 out of 3 of those, especially the 2 and we are right back in it. The others will drop points against each other.

We played absolutely shite today and still could have won the game. Kane missing a chance that you'd normally put your house on him scoring and a whole host of opportunities for our players to shoot but instead pussy footed around and passed to others leading to scrambles. On another day we win that game by 4 or 5.

We missed Eriksen desperately and I can't believe Poch actually started Sissoko over Lamela. He was the ideal replacement for him considering how well he's done since returning from injury.

The subs also left me massively puzzled.
Why take Son off, on a massive hot streak, always a danger even on a quiet day, instead of that walking calamity Sissoko? Why not put Wanyama on at half time for Dembele like it was needed. Dembele should have been sent off and Poch still left him on too long. Personally think he was brilliant v Everton, and that was his first good game for months. I think he's spent as a force. We desperately need Winks back fit.

As for the referee, well the amount of soft fouls he gave the way of Saints and similar fouls not to us was atrocious. Not excusing our performance in Any way but the amount of attacks that broke down because of fouls not given was ridiculous especially towards the end on Dele and Kane

Can't help but think more than just two players were affected by that virus.

Nobody bar Verts seemed like themselves.

Kane looked leggy, Ali erratic - everyone seemed stuck in 2nd gear.

Win two out of the next 3 and not lose and we'll be in good shape for the spring.

Let's not shoot ourselves just yet. The team still haven't clicked yet this season for me. They've got another gear to go up into, but they'll have to shift those gears starting in 10 days time.

The worry is we have some huge games coming up, we could be 7-8 points behind 4th in 5 weeks time and out of the champions league as well.

Performance simply not good enough and Alli is going quietly backwards in form, falling over far too easily and looking for a foul....does himself no favours with the referees. We just don't ever seem to have a 'slightly bad day at the office' and scrape a win...it's always bad or brilliant lately.
We had chances at the end.

Never got going today. Did the illness play a part? Just dithered way too often on the ball. Gave them too much chance to get behind the ball.

The thing about poch is there's a little bit of ego about something like this.

He doesn't want to admit he got it wrong up front and do an early change (at least, that's my strong suspicion).

This is where he differs in a couple of key areas from someone like Maureen who is ruthless - with his team and with himself.

He will change things super early if it's not working and he will drop players if they aren't functioning as they should over a period.

I really hope he quickly picks up these two key traits.

I agree and you summarised it better than me.

This is something I have noticed since he has been with us, I like a manager with a bit of an ego but he really does need to learn those traits if he is ever going to be a top manager.

Oooo pithy. I'm basing it on the whole season. Have we beaten anyone in the top 6 this season? Do you expect us to based on previous performances? Add this mo recent spectacular display on top and there you have it. I can further explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

We were lucky to get a point really - horrendous performance by some players. A huge dent in our top four hopes as well.

Today shows just how much we need a new CM who can pass and a winger who runs at a defences, especial when Son is having a bad day.

One thing strikes me, Poch is way too passive during our games. I think he's great at bullding a team with fit players. And there's nothing wrong with his philosphy or whatever we should call it. It has transformed us from a mid table team to a top team. But I feel that he's way to confident in his philosophy, which makes him passive during our games. Even when we play bad. Very often, his subsitutions has been a reaction of our opponent scoring a goal. Today, after 55 minutes, when a Southampton player was injured, he had the chance to gather the players and give instructions or change something. But he didn't. He just sat there and did nothing. He's way to passive and sometimes it feels like he has no plan B. Maybe I'm too harsh, because I love Poch. But this is the way I feel.
