If that Kane chance towards the end nestles in the bottom corner, nobody bats an eyelid about the performance and/or Poch's decision to start Sissoko over Lamela, or to take Son off.

It's clear from reading Poch's post match comments that a number of players out there were affected by illness. The conditions didn't play into our hands either. No, we weren't at the races today but we've played worse than that and won this season. Swansea (A) springs to mind.

As for the Sissoko bashing, it needs to stop. Not his fault we decided to play £30m for him. Regardless of technical ability (and by no means was he the worst player in a Spurs shirt today) he always puts in a shift and for that reason I refuse to criticise him.

We need reinforcements this January. All the talk seems to be about a pacey wide forward but in truth it's the creative midfield role we need to address. With Dele struggling for form, we're one Eriksen injury away from our season being curtailed.

We've got some vital matches coming up in the next month that will define our season. Thankfully, Alderweireld will soon be back to sure up the defence and Wanyama is approaching full match fitness. It's not all doom and gloom!

Up the Spurs.

We need them every January but never get them. Can't see why it would be any different this year unfortunately. THFC "never miss a chance to miss a chance". Just like today. Win and we go fourth. It was never going to happen.

Is everything alright at home Davo99?

You're on a bit of a shit rampage
I don’t see you the correlation in me calling Sissoko out for being shit and my home life - but it’s fine thanks.

I’d say you’re just a prick. How about join in with the topic instead of coming in with some bullshit personal stuff trying to get funny ratings.

You think Sissoko is good?
