Scoring some internet points at the detriment on one of your players calling your fellow fans 'fan boy's for daring to support your own player is not only sad but you are the worst kind of Spurs fan.

Tagged you to ask for your opinion.

You tagged me to atagonise because you don't want to be proved wrong on the internet and to feel better about yourself you're highlighting a bad performance from our own player to try and make yourself look better. Ironically you're just making yourself look worse :D

We will leave your (very rich) hypocrisy to the side for now. Do explain how anything I do is to the 'detriment of one of [the] players'? In your world if I don't rate a player you think it hinders their play? Is it my brainwaves? Do tell.

My 'Spurs fan-dom' is not the topic and you, my friend, are not the final arbiter as to who is or is not a good fan.

That's horseshit and you should be ashamed for putting that out in public. Now everyone knows you are full of shit. If you wanted my opinion without attempting to antagonize you could have PM'd me (I have done it with a poster in this thread) but you attempted a public dressing down.

Had you not called me out I would not have returned the favor. There has been an entire half-season that has gone by where he has been shit but I didn't post after a game. Why is that? Well obviously because I get no satisfaction from Dele playing shit as it hurts my team. But then you called me out to score cheap points. Turnabout is fair play.

BBLG you are a great poster here and I respect you but this is beneath you. No reason to attack me.

I called some posters out because I got called out last game by @Shadydan . I didn't see you having a word with him. Turnabout and all...

I’ll be honest, reading your post while still furious about our performance probably means I was unduly aggressive in making my point, for which I apologise. However, I still don’t think it’s right to say Dele is not a footballer considering his achievements to date.

I’m late to this party so I don’t know about you being called out, I generally think anyone ‘calling someone out’ for an opinion is a daft thing to do, but can you at least see the difference in saying ‘I told you so’ when someone does well and saying ‘I told you so’ when someone does badly?

My issue with your post wasn’t so much that you were critical, it’s that it gave the impression that you felt gratified by one of our players having a shocker, and that’s probably my biggest pet hate on this site.

Once again, I genuinely apologise for telling you that you don’t deserve to watch football, I took out my anger with Spurs on you and shouldn’t have. You’re entitled to your opinion, but maybe we could all find more constructive ways of airing those views.

I think they call this 'manning-up'. Kinda makes me think I wasn't wrong when I said:

Well, this is awkward...but I told you so. :D(y)

If you don't understand what Dele brings to the team, you don't understand football. His decoy runs and his runs in general are pivotal to Kane having the space he has to smashing in 30+ goals this season. He's skillful, plays effective through balls, can cross, has great vision for a final ball and his awareness is the second best at the club - after Kane. People are (utterly stupidly) confusing him being a slightly clunky and clumsy dribbler with him being a bad footballer.

He isn't as clean on the eyes as Eriksen, Son (sometimes) and a few others, but he's our second most effective player. He had a fairly poor game yesterday, but he also set Kane up for a clear-cut chance that he should have put away towards the end of the game. His back-heel for Eriksen's goal the other day completely epitomises his spatial and positional awareness. He knows exactly where every single player is on the pitch and he knows where the ball needs to go.

Some of you lot (@heelspurs) are pathetically desperate to become the new B-C and pandering to what they think papa Conductor would think. There's a reason Dele will eventually go for more than £100m and it's because you don't know what you're actually talking about, whatsoever.

Bloody hipsters eh ...its like reading a review from someone watching the orchestra the way some posters dissect every aspect of a players game then determine the player must be shit because Jimmy over at Hoffenheim has more touches of his arse over 90 minutes than said player...Makes my teeth itch

Exceptional talent for his age group, just look at the talent of onomah struggling away in the championship.
I'm not sure our system and slow build up is getting the most out of him anymore now he gets tightly marked like a striker.

Wonder how he'd perform in that man city side right now.
Prefer him in a less rigid role playing deeper and central

He’s a really weird player tbh. Most of the time he’s pretty horrible to watch and very uneasy on the eye. If ever a player was bambi on ice it’s him. Sometimes you are literally screaming at the TV screen for him to pass it. He’s dithering is quite staggering at times. I also have no idea why he tries to dribble because he rarely if ever beats his man, just invariably falls over and gets free kick if lucky. However you can’t argue with his goals and assist record. But for his status you expect a player that can do special things. In his whole spurs career I can only really remember a handful of special moments or exceptional goals or assists. Ultimately he is overrated and if you could get £125m and spen that wisely you could probably makes us a stronger squad and team.

All fair points until wanting to sell him.

Best way for us to bring in top quality is to maintain a high quality squad.

We already need another attacking mid, no reason we should choose to make it two.

I honestly don’t see why selling dele if you got £150m would be such a ludicrous idea. If the money was spent wisely you could get 2 top quality AM for the price of him. Just started a poll on twitter which so far is 75% sell him. So it’s clearly not such a ridiculous idea.
