As mentioned above, you're talking rubbish! I did not say replace Poch with Ancelotti.

Do I want Poch gone? Yes.
If he went in the summer I wouldnt shed a tear, so long as he's replaced with someone better. Ancelotti is not better than Poch imho. And that cos theres many reports that have said, Ancelotti is too hands off in training and is not a very disciplined manager the last 5 years or so.

What I would like is someone ruthless like Simeone or Conte to replace Poch. Those are the names I mentioned. Not Ancelotti!!!

If Poch stays next season - which I reckon most likely he will, - then its no less than I expect from DL.He's gotten too friendly with Poch to sack him after what Poch has done so far, and thats normal, however, I feel its going to hurt us if he allows Poch to outstay his welcome if we dont win a trophy or get top 4 by the end of the first season in NWHL.
That is my preference - to give Poch 1 year after we move into NWHL to get us top 4 or a trophy or sack him if he fails to deliver.
But if Conte or Simeone were available before then I would absolutely replace Poch with either in a heartbeat without any hesitation.

The problem with you lot is that you're all too whimsical and soft. You cant bear to sack a manager who you feel has progressed your club - even if it means you will never win a trophy. If you all carry on, We will end up like the scum where getting top 4 is basically like a trophy to you lot!!! Its not!! Get you head out of your arses and realise that we'll never be Utd, City or Chelsea stature until we win the league title.

Top 4 is only a starting point. Poch got us there but he's too crap of a manager to get us a title and since you all are too sentimental and blind to it, some of us with more realism need to slap you all upside the head every few weeks to remind you how shit we still are as a club to know we'll never win a title unless we get a better manager.

I got herpes just reading that crock of shit.

Hate crap like this because it means no one can possibly say anything negative about his management at all without people getting defensive assuming you hold the same ridiculous view of getting rid of him. Really ruins chance of any sort of constructive criticism.

Defensively, Poch nearly always gets it right. Way out of loop with what he targets from an attacking perspective.
I agree. Other teams can spot a player who has a decent touch and can move the ball quickly. We just seem to go for ineffectual strong target men, very average wingers or sissoko. Out of those 5 attacking signings how come we don't have have that has a good touch, can dribble or pick a pass. All have poor technique and poor game intelligence.

The problem with "us lot" (the vast majority of spurs fans who aren't full of absolute nonsense) is that we realise the merit of a manger who has overseen a transition of some considerable magnitude. Do us all a favour and support Watford, their board aren't soft or sentimental.

I'm happy to chop my cock off as long as I can replace it with something better

Not really satisfied fully with Pochettino this season. I thought he leaped forward and developed last season, but this season I think he has regressed a bit. I don't see the same ability to evolve and learn. I think our squad is more or less the 4th best squad in the league, and anything but 4th is underachieving. Unless finishing lower comes with a major cup trophy.
Wouldn't it be better to wait until the end of the season before deciding whether you're satisfied or not then? Plus if you reckon 4th is par for the course, is it not worth noting the rather major handicap we're playing with this season?

TBH I think the Wembley factor is only fully appreciated by the match going fans who can compare what it's like playing at Wembley this year, and playing at WHL, especially the fortress it became last season.
To those who only ever watch on the telly, it's probably not that noticeable.
Its not an excuse, its a very real reason imo...it's an awful place to play 19 home games in.

Simeone doesn't speak a word of English and Conte can't stop moaning about only having a wage bill of £230m and signing a striker for £70M because he needs unlimited funds to compete.

Even if we finished 7th or 8th, I'd still back Poch 100%. If that happened and we were to sack him, I think that'd be it for me and football. Poch has done more than overachieved for 2 straight seasons. He embodies the class we like to think our club has. It's a shame so many of our fans lack any such class.

Poch out? Have a fucking word with yourselves.

the biggest problem this year has been the defense, and thats down to injuries and Walker's transfer. Wanyama is back and Toby is back soon so hopefully we can make a run.

the idea of watching Simeone grind out 1-0 wins at Spurs makes me a little sick. Yeah a great manager but not much fun to watch.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: OMG are people seriously calling for a change in manager?? He’s the best manager I’ve seen in my 47 years. Yeah his substitutions or lack of them early drive me nuts, also his love in with Sissoko. Even with that I love the man. Hope he is here for years to come. He’s worked miracles with our budget compared to the other 5 teams around us. The last thing we need is another change in manager.

Joy of the internet.

Some want to question elements of what he does, some think he has a few weaknesses etc.

Then there are one or two that just go way too far with their view and talk hyperbolic bs.

We need to learn to ignore the last group.

Of course, I was waiting for it, the famous punching above our weight look at our finances Arsenal are so rich. Speaking of Arsenal, they are richer than us, yes? But for sure we must agree that they have a weaker squad than us. So that would prove that financial resources might be a guide line, but not an absolute factor in determening squad ability.

Let's also look at Harry Kane. We are goddarn fortunate to have him. having him is despite our financial resources, because we could never have bought him. Never the less he is in our squad, yes?

So if we forget for a moment all the financial bullshit and all the self glorifying "Look have great we are doing" talk, in my view, we have the 4th best squad, despite our finances, and we should be the 4th best team. Failing to achieve that, is in my view and will be in my view nothing short of underachieving.
There is merit in what you say but without being in any way ITK, I am absolutely certain that Levy will give Poch a deal of leeway; especially with the fact that there was always going to be some uncertainty over how much of an affect Wembley would have.
