21 attempts, 4 on target. A lot of those 21 were way off target.

Carvalhal was a very left field choice, but his record of 7 points from 12 is very impressive. Apart from WBA, all the clubs that changed manager have had a new manager bounce.

After yesterday’s result, I was planning on avoiding watching any football on TV this week but this result just made me change my mind. :)

RAWK yesterday evening.

"Looks like they need Eriksen more than we need Coutinho."

RAWK tonight

"This is the game I saw playing out repeatedly the moment we sold Coutinho. Well, it came sooner then I expected. Fuck today."

"Fucking pathetic. anyone who says we don't need a replacement for Phill can go do one."

And my favourite so far...

"Fuck off. Typical LFC bullshit there: getting a result against the top team, losing against relegation fodder. But hey, bedwetters, stop moaning, we're fine, we don't need a Coutinho replacement, you just have to belieeeeve, etc."

:D

Very left field indeed, and one of the most informative and likeable managers I've heard speak for a long time. Impressive.

Arsenal are five points behind us and Spurs will likely have their usual end of season decline.

Usual end of season decline? They won 12 of their last 13 in the PL last season.

We'll just have to make sure we beat them to top four, then. Remember, they also have to take advantage of any times we drop points as well.

Which they did this weekend.

Yes, he was equally as listenable speaking after our game against them.

Just looked at our goal attempts when they drew away against us under Clement and it's remarkably similar - 26, 8 on target. Clement, of course, also got an impressive 3-2 win at Anfield when he took over last season.

The average length of tenure for a PL manager is now down to 18 months(if you go to Watford, it's probably 6 months). Bilic, noting how many clubs this season had got a new manager bounce, remarked that it's a improvement that soon fades. Fans tire of just digging out results and want more expansive football, which is difficult to deliver.

The only redeeming factor regarding our dire draw with Southampton is that we still took more points than Liverpool this week. :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Not sure if that's a good reflection of this site.

Hence the "oops"!

Theres no doubt their fans are awful. Our match thread can be up and down but at least it's just one thread. The rest of SC is nothing like those wallies on RAWK where the whole site is misguided.

Liverpool, the gift that never stops giving.....the fans give it the big un for beating Citeh one minute, next minute they lose to bottom club Swansea with their record signing getting an assist for the winning goal against them :ROFLMAO:

VVD is not ‘the answer’, he could improve the defence but that was only half the problem, they give no cover from midfield so one new defender will make no difference at all. Now Coutinho is gone the crafty highly technical goals/passes he supplied will hurt them going forward too......luvvly jubbly.
