Dortmund has lost Dembele for about 100m+ and are definitley in need to sell Aubameyang as he is causing more and more problems.
They might not be bigger at the moment but they need to take care of their remaining key players now so I think this is clearly a no goer.

Regarding Sess to stay at topic, the market went crazy and Fulham know that. If they wait longer the market will be even more crazy maybe. 50m for a prospect of the Championship would be such crazy money, anything over 30 would. But I fear in three years that would not be anything special anymore.
Our board needs to accept the new developping market. I see we always want good value on any deal. But to push on and mess with the big boys to generate more money from tv and marketing you might need to invest a bit over top on players first.

Agree - it's clear the market is inflated and i think in dealing with Sanchez and our supposed interest in Malcolm - we're happy to be dealing in 30-40m for the right prospect - but i feel this is top outlay for us and anything additional will be in add-ons from our perspective (unless somehow we were buying a ready made star).

RS in theory should be in our price range - he's a fantastic prospect, that's absolutely clear but he's in the championship, relatively unproven above that level and he's level headed (i.e. his agent/family don't seem to want £££ to sweeten the pot, it's more about his progress). The risk as you've noted, is the longer we wait, the more likely it is someone will have interest and bid us up. The ITK on this seems to imply we've had open dialogue with Fulham, so hopefully when the time is right we can reach an agreement to benefit all concerned.

As of now I just can see it ending like this: We were talking with player and club for like three years but Chelsea or City will come up talking half a week and just paying what recquired. We tried eh.

Let's just hope we will be fine to secure fresh top class talent.

We've had a good track record with bringing fresh talent, whether that is luck or great scouting or maybe both, but this has yielded us Alli, Dier, Walker, Rose and then homegrown quality in Kane and Winks. There is no doubt that it is much more difficult to find a real young gem in isolation. We have become victims of our own success in this area, as all the other clubs are much more interested in our targets and strategies due to our past success with identifying the next real superstars

I fully trust our scounting department to find the right targets, but it is more questionable if they are still attainable for us. It is quite difference to pay for RS sth between 30-50m while you got the guys you mentioned maybe for a combined 15m.

Yes, its much more difficult finding the real raw talent at bargain prices. Sellers are now much more savvy

We missed the boat on Sessegnon in the summer by low balling with our bid and missing the moving goal posts!
Is your plan to just hop in every thread and spout nonsense without any semblance of truth? Easiest ignore I've had in a while... o_O

The longer it takes less likely this will happen. Our lot are going to pack up and walk away.

Partly makes you wish we had paid him enough last summer to fuck over Fulham. Unless we had some kind of agreement about it or he had a clause in the contract he signed that he would be sold for a set amount after a year (which of course would never happen), then this could well be too big a gamble to take on a 17 year old.

Not that I agree that Pulisic is attainable as it stands right now, but as I often hear when it comes to our clubs top players - every player has a price ...

It can't work one way and not the other.

As far as Dortmund go, are they that further up the food chain than Spurs? (this is a genuine question as I don't keep afoot of who is bigger in terms of money etc etc)
What has Pulisic got to do with sessegnon?

Fulham want top dollar for their young talent after dropping a bollock over Moussa Demeble who went for peanuts. They aint going to allow for that to happen again.
