There's no arguing Tottenham have been one of the most improved teams in the Premier League under Mauricio Pochettino. The results speak for themselves.

Is it just me, or does the headline make absolutely no grammatical sense?

Is it meant to be 'Pochettino cautions that Tottenham must be relaxed...'?

A good article and one I hope (but doubt) Pochettino reads.

Although I don't believe Lamela is match fit - his ongoing determination to play Sissoko despite very poor performances leaves a lot to be desired.

Historically he sold Paulinho, Capoue, Mason and Carroll who in my eyes would have offered more than Sissoko has this season in his central role.

Llorente should have definitely been substituted on - and a ongoing concern I have with Pochettino is his steadfast refusal to either sub Kane or give the side the opportunity to play with 2 up top - particularly when we have the game won. This means the link up play and understanding for the side with 2 up top has not yet been properly explored and is therefore not a natural reaction should we need to push on and get a result.

When teams are parking the bus - 2 up top is the minimum required to place them under pressure - United under Fergie would often end up with 3 once Solksjaer came on - and we know how many points United won late - this was something that came so naturally to those United teams - and their results speak for themselves.

I'm disappointed to miss out on Barkley - however his wages seemed to be the stumbling block - next target - Gray from Leicester - he fits our transfer model of being young with great potential - who unlike our French wingers who struggle to adapt to the league - he already has experience and could go on to be a Zaha - without the African Nations commitment.

Lucas Moura - perhaps a loan deal with an option to buy. He will have played with Aurier and should already have an understanding given they played on the same right hand side together - and by loaning him we reduce the risk if he doesn't settle in the Premiership...
