Won’t don’t people like Moura? He isn’t that fast but he has ability to beat people particularly in tight spaces. He has a tendency to cut inside on the ball go past a couple of guys and either get a shot off or slide a pass back into the hole he just left.

He’s not a burner but he doesn’t have to be. Our problem is unlocking stubborn teams and I think he’ll help with that. He’s more ginola and vdv than he is bale or lennon. Fine with it.

And apparently not cup tied, we’d just need to take out one of our other foreign guys.

Not that fast? Easily in the same bracket as sterling, sane etc.

Did they? ITKs said Malcolm, then Moura. Nobody said we're going for both.
As for Lamela - apparently there's interest from Italy, no sign we're willing to sell though. If he can get fit, I think Poch will want to keep him,
pretty sure the ITK was that we wanted Malcom, and if we signed Malcom, it was unlikely we would go for Moura unless an opportunity was too good to miss price wise that would make it doable

Edit:
Hercules said:
We won’t sign Moura if we sign Malcom. Unless a no-brainer Van Der Vaart happens with Moura, as a deal we just cannot refuse. With Malcom in the bag.

*Health warning! As good as it is, not done yet, but looking good*

Do we have any ITK on whether this is a loan or a permanent signing?
Since everyone says they are looking to pull in some money for FFP I'd suggest it's permanent, it also makes sense with the information we had about a club wanting 70% or 100% up front.

I think people see that and they just expect another Townsend who never crosses and rarely passes and just hoofs 25 yard curlers to Neptune but that's not his game at all. His chance creation and assist numbers as well as number of goals scored from inside the box are all really good and consistent.

Lucas Moura is Andros Townsend 2.0 I think is has basic skills that are ok but I don’t see him as more threatening than Lamela. Poch can work wonders with any player so I expect if we sign him for Poch to turn him into a class player because for the last few seasons he has be very average at best

Nothing like Townsend, except from the forehead up.

The comparisons people are making with Townsend are laughable. Seriously.

PSG: contractual agreement between Lucas and Tottenham

The transfer of Lucas Moura to Tottenham is precise. After his trip to London on Thursday, the British leaders and the entourage of the Brazilian have signed a contractual agreement around a four-year contract. According to our information, the Spurs have aligned themselves with Lucas' Parisian salary. Now remains to find an agreement with the PSG, which requires 25 million euros, excluding bonus. The situation could settle down early next week, the end of the transfer window approaching. In the meantime, Lucas Moura is at Camp des Loges this Friday.

Whether we think he’s the real ‘difference maker’ some think we need or not, at the price mooted this one is a no brainer. Absolute bargain and adds a skillset we only really have in Son.

He didn't hit it off at PSG, it happens to players all the time. Look at Coutinho at Inter. The player that used to make headlines like A modern-day Jairzinho with the creative brilliance of Ronaldo? What Moura would bring to Manchester United is still in there.
