Not sure what you mean by the vip box.

Basically the new rules will be that you can only have a net spend of €100m a season. So if you spend €300m on players you have to sell €200m of players.

Think he mean corporate box, they’ll just bump up the prices and get their oil buddies to buy them

Which again will have no bearing on the fact they will only be able to have a net spend of €100m on transfers a season.
They could sell each vip box for £1bn and still wont matter.

Is it just me that found Real complaining about “State aid” bloody ironic, considering how often they were bailed out by the state...

Can’t have the King of Spain’s team suffering financial difficulties...

They were also punished for it.

Nice to see but it doesn't really matter for teams like City. They have the players now, the assets they can sell to balance the books.

Having their sponsorships possibly be dismissed towards ffp might hurt them. This also is not for the short term. They will eventually have to replace those players and will be limited by the net spend rule of €100m a season. Also they will no longer be able to farm young players out on loan and use their sales to get around ffp.

This ruling hurts them a lot.

There may be ways around it but they can be shut down too.

Who knows abu dhabi may just say fuck it like the malaga bloke did.

FFP? Yeah, they look worried, just about to spend another £60m on Laporte!:ROFLMAO:

Pathetic club. They all know deep down any success is basically worthless. They won’t admit it and just call everyone jealous etc, but they all know. Their league win in the 60’s will always be a bigger and better achievement, by a mile, than anything they get under their sugar daddy and his abhorrent family.

Names like Lee, Summerbee and Bell will still be remembered long after most of the current lot are forgotten

They will but they have been using farming to get around ffp for years. Think they have made £106m from selling the players they loan out who never get a chance to play for them.

Been calling for a ban on loaning players over 21 for a few yearsnow. Glad yo see uefa doing something about it.
I wouldn't stop at banning clubs from loaning players aged over 21. I'd also limit the number of players clubs are allowed to loan to/borrow from other clubs. For example, Chelscum had 33 players out on loan last time I checked, although you'd think they were struggling to fill a 5-a-side team with the way Conte was moaning about their 'lack of players'.

FFP was a joke anyway it locked out the chasers even more so

City are set for at least 10 years. They could sell De Bruyne tomorrow for 180m and buy 3 of their usual 50m signings. Thats not even including the likes of Sane, Sterling and Jesus

What happened to Financial fair play? This is ridiculous. They just bought the best 11 in the world. Just Ronaldo and Messi missing now. How is this right or fair? Fuck Pep hope he fucks off. No respect for him as a manager and feel sorry for the City academy players because they are not going to get a look in.

£57m for an uncapped defender. The sooner the football bubble bursts the better.

So after posting this and being exasperated at Guardiola's dumb comments...

They now go out and pay £57 million for another defender...

http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-move-to-manchester-city-from-athletic-bilbao

Absolutely disgusting.

Press will be sucking Guardiola's cock if (when) he wins title this season but with the amount of money he has spent it's the least he can do really.

Really, all you can do is laugh:

As reported by @MirrorAnderson , Manchester City have an interest in Riyad Mahrez but I'm told they will have to bid crazy money to convince Leicester to sell with one day of the window left

£50 million and he will be theirs... even if it is this late in the transfer window.
Reality is that City are now buying the league title for the next 3/4 years - the rest of us are just playing for CL spots.

Fuming. They had the chance to get Sanchez and stop United strengthening which could've helped us, then Sane gets injured for 6wks and they try and buy a winger a week later....
