I think we have a chance here. We might need to be patient.

Why would a young, British talent pick Arsenal or Chelsea over us? Arsenal seem to be selling squad and first teamers without properly replacing them and have a manager who might retire or join the board... As for Chelsea, they have about 30 lads out on loan and change manager more often than some folks change their underwear! Why would you go to a club where there is instability and or no recent history of blooding youth, over one where the manager is one of the best at developing talent?

I would love him in January or the summer. I would also be really annoyed if he went to another club and didn’t fulfil his potential.
Wages and Agents unfortunately.

People are always coming out with posts like this to try and explain why a player won't sign for our rivals. It rarely plays out like so. Money talks.

If you say so but I believe Liverpool paid over the odds for Stirling to get him at 15 years old and knowing how Levy operates he would probably have tried to low ball Fulham. Don`t need a lecture from all of you as its just my view on things.

Considering the other teams in for him have more money than us I don’t see how getting into a bidding war would have helped.

Anyway it’s a moot point for the reason that you continue to ignore

I get that we don’t pay as much, but if that means we end up with players like Kane who want to be there to become something, over a guy who just wants a fast buck and to become the next Jermaine Pennant, Scott Sinclair etc, give me that any day.

Maybe I’m just an optimist!

I think you have changed the point... I was talking about about making a big offer 18 months ago not a bidding war in the summer

People have pretty much explained the whole scenario to you including information from the ITK and you seem to be choosing to ignore it.

It's like groundhog day in here.

Other clubs with more money are interested. Us making a ‘big’ offer is irrelevant as those clubs would have just made bigger offers

No they basically said we tried everything to get him last summer including a £25 million offer I get it.... I am saying perhaps if we were interested in the player a year earlier we should have maybe made a £10 million and a loan back offer at that point like Liverpool did for Origi for example .. I suspect our offer was not good enough.... I am not having a go at the club as i know it is a risk but just think we need to be more creative. If all this was done then I accept I am in the wrong....

How far back do you go? He made his debut in August 2016. It's too easy to say we should have gone in for him earlier.

He wanted to sign his contract when he turned 17 it doesn't matter how far you keep going back it doesn't make a blind bit of difference.

You just keep saying the same fucking thing worded differently. Give it up.

People need to forget this lads age. He is ready to go the real McCoy. I would shop him for Rose in a nano second. He is more intelligent, has better positioning sense, quicker and more productive going forward. The only plus for Rose is his physicality and he doesn't always use that wisely.
As you can gather I will be really pissed if we miss out on him.

Lucus moura at 19 went for £50m, he was wanted by the biggest clubs on the planet. At 25 with 36 caps for brazil we are getting him for less than a 17 year old sessegnon.

He might be fantastic or he could be like halilovic at barca and fade away. There are no certainties.

The boy doesn't want to leave London so that leaves three clubs he could go to or stay at Fulham if nobody pays the money. We are the only ones who are in for him at the moment out of the three. We haven't missed out on him or anything like that and there's no reason to think we have either. He doesn't seem to be in a rush to leave Fulham either, which is a pretty good thing if we can't get him at the moment.

I know a coach at Fulham and he is good friends with Sessesgnon's parents.

He won't move to Chelsea....they messed him and his family about when he was younger. Absolutely no chance be signs for them as his next club.

I don't believe they think Arsenal are a good club to move to as Wenger is hardly bringing on loads of young players and improving them.

The coach mentioned Liverpool as a possible destination. I think the fact we have Rose did concern them about potential playing time.

That said my gut instinct is we will get him. We're in London we give young talent the opportunity to play and we have a manager who has proven track record in developing players. So for me we are the most attractive destination for him and his family.

This was just the coaches opinion so but he was adamant Chelsea had no chance of signing him and he would know seeing as he coached the kid as a school boy. Seeing as Rose looks to still be wanting out maybe we are giving the kid assurances he will play.

I genuinely don't know who else he could move to. United maybe but they hardly give young players a chance particularly under Mourinho. Would be a risky move for him and they aren't in London!

why should fulham sell, they are going for the prem, player wants to stay and play, fair play to him
