Shame we couldn’t get this confirmed and announced today, makes me slightly nervous + would’ve meant anything tomorrow is a bonus.

If we can just get this one over the line it’s an amazing deal and exactly player we’ve need for ages.

If so then in summer we can just get 3 things:
1) CM
2) Better back up striker + sell Llorente
3) Another upgraded AM e.g. Malcom and then sell sissoko or Lamela.

We will then be prettt much complete I’d say. I’d not be able to find any real weakness in the squad

CM is the real problem. We can sign, sell, trade and loan as much as we want to. Without a CM upgrade, we won't improve greatly.

Eriksen back up. Unless of course the CM fulfills that remit too.

Don’t think it’s a ‘problem’ per se. When fit Dembele is as soon as anyone for what we need that role to do but with winks nowhere to be seen we lack creative CM depth.

Would hope CM fulfils that remit really mate as for AM 6 we’d have : moura Son dele eriksen Malcom and sissoko/Lamela.
Plenty of depth so if we need eriksen to drop deep he could but hopefully the CM + winks and or Dembele would cover it.

Dembele is rarely ever fully fit these days. He's only had a handful of performances where he's been at his best this season, so for me it is a huge problem. Winks is a good young talent but he has his own injury issues. It's clearly the area of the squad that most needs to be addressed IMO.

Being a spurs fan, I'm not expecting anyone. I am very happy with the Moura deal, I think he could be a great addition.

However, we're very lucky to receive ITK here that has given us hope of a 2nd signing.

Therefore, when I say it would be to appease fans. What I mean is, if we announced Moura today and signed no one tomorrow, that would be an anticlimax to most fans.

CM is a sticky area (and not in a good way). I think Dembele has part to play, but maybe only 1/3rd of games. I think Dier makes too many mistakes, and regardless of how matey he is with Dele, I would sell him on. Maybe someone like Vidal or Javi Martinez who could be a statement signing and someone for the young lads to look to learn from.

I want Vidal no where around this team, he's a nut job. Javi Martinez would be redundant with Wanyama and Dier. Do some people even watch the games? We need a CM who can pick a pass and ping the ball all over the field dictating tempo, not another destroyer.

With Moura could you not drop eriksen deeper? Moura son and dele behind Kane with eriksen in a modric style role next to Wanyama.

and get Lopez on a free to replace Vorm and be a long term replacement for Lloris.

Need a better passer in the 3 behind Kane. It could work but I still think we work best with Eriksen behind Kane. I'm one of the people who thinks our best lineup is without Dele though so take that into account.
