I think this is an excellent signing and shows that Poch absolutely sees what we see- when Son is not on the pitch, we have no pace or movement, no threat in behind. I reckon he'll be a bit like Son to start, will need to temper our expectations of him, but he'll also create space for others and hopefully has a wavelength with Aurier already.

For all of the season, I've been thinking about two dire needs to improve the squad (well, three, but I'm trying to turn a leaf and not slate a specific player).
1) A CM upgrade
2) One more player who can score frequently and maybe even score at opportune moments to decide a match in our favour. We basically only have 4 goals scoring players this season, and IMO, a fifth one would increase our top 4 chances a lot.
The fact that we actually may have sorted out one of those two needs according to my personal views, is almost not believable.

Mentioned that a few dozen pages back. Thought it was fishy in the summer. It was itk, but I reckoned they were being fed some spin because the fee PSG were asking for then was much higher than Daniel would accept.
