They're our main rivals and always will be. There's no point pretending we don't care about them - the rivalry with Arsenal is one of the main things I've enjoyed about following football, unfortunately they've just been better than us most of my life.
Yeah I guess its probably not appreciated by the JCLs, they are the enemy, and no matter how good/bad either of us are, they always will be (no matter what @riggi thinks, he's a nipple.)
Only thing wrong with this thread is why it isn't a 'Lets all laugh at..." thread, dunno what makes these fuckers so special.

From the BBC...

"Arsenal could have signed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the summer and have Giroud as their 'Plan B' option but instead they hesitated for a long time between Aubameyang and Lacazette and chose Lacazette for £53m.

Then, six months down the line they decide that maybe that was a mistake so they are going to spend another £55m on Aubameyang, a striker with many similarities to Lacazette."

Delighted with tonight's result, but - as always - I'll continue to be worried that they'll pass us at the end of the season until it's mathematically impossible for them to do so. Too many years of bitter experience to think otherwise.

I'm not anymore

More worried that Liverpool have finally gotten their act together

PS Once Arsene leaves I'll start worrying again

It's crazy if that's true

Lacazette and PEA in the same team isn't going to work particularly well; someone will have to be crowbarred into a position that they're not used to

And apart front that they’re fucking hilarious when they’re shit.

Only Arsenal could be winning fa cups and yet be a laughing stock and their fans in total meltdown.

They protest against Wenger more than West Ham protest about their owners....

Really shows how desperately we need silverware. Even at our most stable and them in crisis they’re more successful. Time to push this one over the line.

Interesting breakdown of his stats from Opta Joe:

98 - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's 98 Bundesliga goals:
Inside Box - 97
Outside Box - 1
Penalties - 10
Headed - 13
Right Foot - 64
Left Foot - 20
Other Body Part - 1.

Fits in to their whole 'walk the ball into the box' attacking gameplay... though you do kinda feel they need someone who can score from outside the box every now and then (though to be fair they need a lot more than that)

They can sign all the big names they want, but until they change A) The Manager and B) The Board, they won't truly move on.
