I knew it was highly unlikely, but I was so (ridiculously optimistically) hoping we would be targeting a quality CM today that had gone completely under the radar... Think a player that can transition our play quickly through intelligent passing is needed.

Thanks for the info.

I was as well, think I probably got carried away by JJ and Herc saying that we were pushing for two in that I let reason leave the room for a little tooooo long. Think the only movement we might of seen was Llorente for Bats but that ship has sailed. Good thing I’m at the match tonight, save me refreshing this page every five minutes.

One would assume that we have 1 or 2 players in mind that we would push for if Llorente does leave so you have to wonder how we're playing it. Are we encouraging bids for Nando or simply going to be purely reactive if we get the right bid.

ITK world 'highly unlikely' = don't get your hopes up there is next to no chance we'll get anyone else in
Everyone else 'highly unlikely' = Oooohhh we might get someone else in, lets all guess who it could be

Can see why we drive the ITKs mad! Wouldn't have it any other way. Eternal optimism is essential for any Spurs fan surely!?

So when he’s not even on the bench tonight....? Eeek

I think they were hoping Harry Winks was going to be that man.

So far it's not been the case but I have a feeling they may try Eriksen there.

He seems to be controlling the play from out wide (which takes a considerable amount of talent) so doing it from the central area could be beneficial.

Winks has shown plenty of promise this season when fit IMHO, but this ankle issue is looking to be a problem.

Donation made. Cheers for running the site guys.

From my perspective I expected no signings this window at all. So if we get Moura in then it's a success as far as I can see.

A good win tonight would be the best result of deadline day for me.

Moura is done. No Willian-esque outcome for this one.

Imagine if instead of announcing Moura he just turns up with the squad tonight.

I'll be very disappointed if any of the ITK's haven't booked the day off to go tree climbing by the training ground.

Superb this window lads, enough to satisfy the bloodlust but hopefully not enough to compromise future information.

Ben has chopped the branches down!
