Getting rid of Lamela at this point in the season would be incredibly poor business.

We should of got Lemina before he went to Southampton 6 months ago when he was an outcast at Juventus, now he'd be double the cost. Even though he hasn't done anything of note.

Why would Southampton get rid of their record signing after only 7 appearances for the club? What a load of bollocks.

Unlikely to happen, but it would not be the worst thing that could happen for all parties.

With Lucas in, Lamela is one more spot further away from playing time.

Lamela needs playing time - after missing a year.

Lamela could presumably get more playing time at Soton.

Its still not likely to happen.

But wasn't this the whole point of Moura? To ADD more competition and depth to the squad in attack?

Moura is a very good player. Is he better than Lamela? Probably marginally. But it's certainly a debatable one.

Didn’t Poch say Sissoko was the only player who could transition defence to attack? Leaving aside the obvious absurdities of that statement, Lemina would appear to be that type of player.

Might be something in it.

Nobody likes to acknowledge it - but current Lamela is not nearly as good as pre-hip injury Lamela. Its understandable - nobody is going to be the same after missing a full year away from football. He needs to play to get back into the rhythm of the game.

Again, I don't think this is going to happen - but it would help Lamela more, and ultimately Spurs, if he could get a regular run of matches

Getting rid of Lamela while Sissoko is still at the club would be akin to getting slapped in the dick with a rotten trout.

The only source for this Lemina stuff is SpursStatMan who I believe has posted 'ITK' before and got it wildly wrong... gonna wait for a better source before I meltdown about it :D

Radio reports say they’ve made enquiries but Spurs have said no go. They were after Promes (?) but that fell through and wanted alternative

good, short and sweet response I hope

Southampton: " I see you bought Moura...so is Lamela available for Loan or Transfer?"

Levy: "No, now Fuck Off " *click*

And if we get Malcom in the summer as well. Only 18 months left on he's current deal. It would not be completely strange if he left in the summer.
